Meh my 8800gtx idle'd at 63 deg and hit 76 on most games..
Thermalright HR-03 + HR-11 it idles at 46 deg and gets up to 63 under full load hahaha..
Chips can handle it these days and with a bit of cooling they are fine
I had the same probelm with my DS2R and E8400..
Ran 4.4ghz all day long for months.. Changed it and it wouldn't go back..
Replaced the motherboard and all is fine now.
Only reason I'd go back is if I felt I had to spend too much on a PC..
Other than that I'm happy with my DS2R, E8400 @ 4ghz, 2x2gb axeram, 8800gtx :)
I have a huge ammount of over the top cooling and about 8 fans and noise still isn't bad so I'd say you will have no problems there.
Do...
Hahaha cheers man had a laugh at " SELFOWNED" But yea I seriously had my doubts when I ordered all the GPU cooing (HR-11/HR-03) but worked out in the end and I feel the soundcard is not in any danger as I have accuretly monitored the temp with my high tech finger temp gauge and it's not any...
Yea I was supprised.
I bought the HR-03 and HR-11 with no clue as to if it would fit at all. Then I noticed the PCI slot would still be free and put the sondcard there!
Works out perfectly :)
