Hi all, I'm looking for a case, an wondered what people thought about these. This is sort of a continuation of this thread (http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1325308), but I have ordered my mobo and CPU but no case, and wondered what people like the best, and why. I will eventually have a decent VC in there, and I'm pretty sure they can all handle it. I'm assuming I will need to get an additional PS no matter what route I go (although I can probably rely on the Microfly's PS for a couple months until I upgrade my VC). Ultimately, I would like to order the case tonight, so chime in with all you can! Cheaper would be nicer, but I'd rather have something nice for a few years then regret it.

MB: ASUS P5E-VM HDMI
CPU: E8400 retail w/ stock cooler
VC: 7600GT, with major upgrade by the end of the year

Thanks in advance!

Granted the Micro Fly is not of the same quality as the Silverstone, but the flexibility to install large CPU coolers trumps a higher level of finish.

I recently built a system around the Microfly MX-6 with great results (installed 8800 GTS 512 easily). If you decide to go with an Ultra, ditch the power supply immediately and go with a modular like a Corsair (HX series) or Silverstone with PP03 cable kit.

SG02-F is now 74 on newegg.com

Also, keep in mind, you can use a full sized card on the "F" revisions of silverstone SFF cases. I am using a GTX280 in mine, had a GX2 fit with no problems... you could fit two in there if you had an SLI motherboard.

To give you an idea, I got a Quad Core, GTX280, 4TB Storage, raid card, 8GB ram, Two Optical drives (slim) in mine... it has a killer layout.

Thanks for all the input everyone. I ended up with the Microfly. I think the SIlverstone cases in general have a reputation of being higher quality, and work great, but the Microfly doesn't look shabby either, and had a spot for a 3rd HD + 2 OD's w/o modification.

I'll try to post some pics when I get it running.

The microfly looks pretty good.

I have the SG02 and love it <3.

Hey Ockie, how did you manage to fit 4TB of storage in the SG02-F? Can you post some pictures?
