Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
everytime i get this message from my firewall my system freezes and i have to do a hard reset
"goolge chrome is trying to use windows host process (Rundll32) to access the internet"
"xxxxxxx is trying touse windows host process (Rundll32) to access the internet"
it happened one time...
when my computer freezes or crashes once i boot back up successfully where can i go to get a log and find out what happened? is a log kept? how can i go about determining what is causing my freezes and crashes?
this is a new build so im not sure whats wrong
i need a comodo alternative. i have tried hard to configure my settings with comodo but there is still a leak. programs still have access to internet without my permission.
ive never had this problem with comodo, and ive used it for years successfully, but this new comodo is not working out...
i dont know what happened. but it was working fine since i last wrote about it. i called the cable company and someone came out and swapped wires, boxes, etc.
its been working fine for almost a year now.
just few days ago, it started going black again........what the hell
thanks guys
i switched it and temps dropped by 10.
thanks much, using speedfan and shows decrease even when playing game (need for speed)

ok, so blow air into the heatsink then, as has been stated by post #2?
ok ill do that now. by the way you may be right ^^^^^^^.
i thought that ram should be in slots 1 and 2 and thats how it is now. i did not know it should be 1 and 3 (or 2 and 4) so ill do that now too.
thanks
edit to my first post:
***edit 2** see pics below, as i have fan installed. "back" of fan is to heatsink, "front" of fan is facing away.
i used speedfan to check my temps and they are as follows:
temp1: 36c
temp2: 39c
temp3: 25c
core 0: 35c
core1: 34c
gpu: 41c
are these about right? no...
I jist received my new heatsink: xigmatek loki sd963. Im just confused which directipn the fan needs to face the actual heatsink. Does the fan blow into the heatsink or does the fan blow away from the heatsink?
The instructions are horrible, and from looking at the drawn pictures it looks like...
Partiton 1 (xp) had the boot record i think because i instslled it first. What do i need to do prior to install to ensure i have dual boot? Or can i recreate the boot record after i fresh install over the first partition?
i have one drive windows xp and windows 7 dual boot.
windows xp on c
windows 7 on d
partition e is used for storage only.
would i be successful in doing a fresh install over the c drive, leaving the d drive (windows 7) intact? i want to install a 64-bit version of windows 7 on the c...
ok, forget about mwave. i went with newegg.
