comodo alternative?

i need a comodo alternative. i have tried hard to configure my settings with comodo but there is still a leak. programs still have access to internet without my permission.
ive never had this problem with comodo, and ive used it for years successfully, but this new comodo is not working out.

can someone recommend a software firewall? hopefully free but at this point ill buy one.

i am using windows 7 64 bit and i need to block outgoing traffic. the new comodo has been a nightmare
