Title says the BSOD error I get when trying to boot up with the drive in question. Putting it into another computer as a non-boot drive does me very little good as the drive is seen, but I get a "Unable to perform request due to I/O error" popup when I try to access it.
I've done everything...
Focusing on the two months it took for you to get the computer back, and sorry if this is a dumb question, but it's been nearly ten years since I last bought a computer through a boutique vendor.
During this time, aside from saying 'oh, it'll be ready in a few days', did they try to do...
Played it. Beat Clarence (Razor) like he owed me money. Got my old, and now outdated, ride back and just cruising around now. My problem with this game is the Drag Racing feature. The collision detection and overall feel of the controls feel completely off. I've crashed into middle dividers...
Something which wasn't entirely clear to me:
Is backwards compatability with XBox games already implemented or is that something that's down the road still?
I now remember a reason I don't play MMOs anymore.
Back when I played EverQuest, I got solicited for cybersex more than once. On one occasion, one of them was willing to do it for free. Let's just say...I'm glad I turned "her" down.
Yep...lose it and forget it like bad amnesia. I wish there was a better alternative, but I've seen only 1 computer that was stable with WinME. And that 1...well, it confounded him too but he didn't complain.
I tend to use Greek names for my setups.
Deucalion for my dedicated server.
The Muses for the individual computers: Calliope, Erato and Euterpe in service; Melpomene will be the HTPC I'm working on right now. My next computer will replace Calliope, called Thalia
That's just me, though...
Price gouging goes along with creating the potential base for pirating on such a massive scale, but is not a direct cause of it. Almost everyone that has downloaded a file off the internet illegally would still be saying "Thank you, sir. May I have another?" if it weren't so easy to download...
Two words: It's easy. I'm talking about modern-day piracy when I say that, btw.
It's easy to pull something off the internet for free. It's easy to download that one or two songs off an otherwise craptastic album. It's easy to find that $500 Adobe Photoshop. It's easy to get WinXP Corp...
If by this you mean that Firefox doesn't have ActiveX controls, I do just fine without that, which is the only thing "missing" from Firefox. By "missing", I mean that Firefox doesn't come with a gaping open wound of a security problem for which they have been reusing the same band-aids and...
