Here is a nice X299 motherboard I found. It's a shame there are no decent cheap processors for this platform.

Not that I know of. That must be a massive UPS.Holy Crap! Did CDW raise their shipping prices? Bought a UPS a month ago and shipping was $100, was looking for another similar one and they want $175 to ship it!
Outlet discounts are much more than 5%, and tbh I have no idea where the 5% comes from because I don't even get that on regular purchases and I've been buying from them since the 1990s.Is 5% the max discount they ever offer with ordering new from them?
Nice! This is why I love the outlet.MY 1650super ddr6 arrived today, brand new unopened card (security seal in tact). was just an open box! score! Thanks for the posting!!!!!
And I just saw this unit on the smaller side of UPS loads at 750va for $120. These are going for $300+ almost anywhere else, so solid deal and they have 4 of them, one of which hasn't hit the $120 price point yet. Shipping on these should be like $25:

Got a 1500 sitting under my desk right now. Can't think of any downside, outside of making sure you have the space for it. It's about as large as having a cinder block under your deskAny downsides/restrictions to using one of these in a home situation?
Careful buying a rackmount UPS from CDW, bought two and both came heavily damaged due to poor packagingReally wanted a rack mounted UPS . But the price difference is crazy. Might just make a shelf under my rack and set it down there. Not like anybody will see it any way.
Thanks , guess I’ll just order a normal one. Don’t really need to take up any more rack space any way. Had to half my rack to get it to fit in the wall.Careful buying a rackmount UPS from CDW, bought two and both came heavily damaged due to poor packaging
I'm not sure if I should thank you or curse you. Picked one of these up for my kids' pc and another larger one for that server I'm getting from Gilbot. I did call in though to make sure I actually get the items so thanks for that tip.And I just saw this unit on the smaller side of UPS loads at 750va for $120. ...
Outlet discounts mean nothing if what your looking for is on their actual store and never hits the outlet or your not looking to wait around for it to. Maybe the 5% is for a first time order I dunno but it's clearly on my account. So I guess it's a one time thing and/or they never offer a higher discount then the 5%. LOL doesn't matter anymore I got what I was looking for cheaper after tax elsewhere even with the 5%.Outlet discounts are much more than 5%, and tbh I have no idea where the 5% comes from because I don't even get that on regular purchases and I've been buying from them since the 1990s.
Sweet! You'll be happy with it. I've got some of the ancestors of this guy still working today. Thanks, SamirD. I snagged one for my server. I have a cheaper 600VA APC on it now, but I figured for $150 shipped with tax (shipping was only $17) it would be a worthwhile investment. I may even mod it with an external battery, as I found a few folks online that have done it.
You'd be really happy with it. It would do exactly what you want and do it well.I'm very tempted by those 750VA for a home network backup (router, AP, modem, RPi).
Pure sine wave, $150. Dang. Like that it has outlets on the back too, much cleaner.
Any downsides/restrictions to using one of these in a home situation?
True as with all cameras it's all about the lens. Still, they are cheap compared to their normal prices so they are deals on that level.with IP cameras MP doesn't mean squat there are 2 and 3mp cameras that miles better than 5mp Cameras, especially ones with the sony starlite sensor in them
And as heavy as one too. I don't think about moving my 1000va units without stretching first, lol.Got a 1500 sitting under my desk right now. Can't think of any downside, outside of making sure you have the space for it. It's about as large as having a cinder block under your desk
There's some solid deals on rack units usually, so just keep an eye out if you want one.Really wanted a rack mounted UPS . But the price difference is crazy. Might just make a shelf under my rack and set it down there. Not like anybody will see it any way.
But this is very solid advice. The only time I lost is when I had 2x rack units shipped without proper packaging and they got damaged, and CDWs returns and my supposed sales rep messed up the returns so I lost out. Still pissed about this today since it cost me over $300, but I'm still ahead overall getting stuff from the outlet. The worst part was that the UPS was for my mom's breathing machine when she was still alive (lost her last March really miss you this weekend mommy). I got a replacement from Provantage's open box that was properly packed and arrived unharmed.Careful buying a rackmount UPS from CDW, bought two and both came heavily damaged due to poor packaging
It will be pretty nice then because you can turn it sideways and it should fit nicely that way. Thanks , guess I’ll just order a normal one. Don’t really need to take up any more rack space any way. Had to half my rack to get it to fit in the wall.
Once you get your shipment you'll know which way to go. Glad you called them because it sounds like all 4 were bought here in this thread! If anyone didn't get theirs, I'd be curious to know because that means there's a lot more people watching this thread than just us.I'm not sure if I should thank you or curse you. Picked one of these up for my kids' pc and another larger one for that server I'm getting from Gilbot. I did call in though to make sure I actually get the items so thanks for that tip.
It would be interesting to compare pricing. I get a very slight additional discount on any items I order (usually a few cents), but it's definitely not 5%Outlet discounts mean nothing if what your looking for is on their actual store and never hits the outlet or your not looking to wait around for it to. got a 220v outlet near your workstation?Got one of these for under 100 shipped:
https://m.cdw.com/product/eaton-5s-global-1500va-tow-208-230v/6009098?pfm=srh
Seems like a good deal for a decent 1500va UPS for my workstation. Any thoughts/experiences or should I cancel?
I would call, it looks like that's a 230v model, which most homes and offices do not have.Got one of these for under 100 shipped:

It's the 230V version with a c14 input connector, so if you were intending to use this with normal 120V power, you'll probably need to cancel:Got one of these for under 100 shipped:

Yeah, and a lot of times it is because of catalog mistakes like that, that things end up in the outlet, so you have to check the manufacturer's part number for specs and not necessarily rely on what CDW has on their site. Just another one of the outlet caveats, but as you can see if someone was looking for these exact part numbers, it's a steal of a price.Yeah just realized that, canceling...thanks for the save guys. The part # on the outlet links back to the regular 110v version here: https://m.cdw.com/product/Eaton-5S-1500G-UPS-900-Watt-1500-VA/3395546 , got my hopes there for a bit.
The good thing about outlet deals is that there will always be another. I've always told myself that if I was only halfway on an item and it went to someone else that maybe they needed it more than I did, or that there's a better item waiting for me. And a lot of times, these things have been true too.If the 750VAs are gone, I didn't get to snag one. When it comes to $$$ and purchases, I'm both overly (too) careful and indecisive, even if I can afford them. I often lose out on items because of delaying my own purchase.
After managing money extremely poorly a decade ago and burning myself with debt and clawing out of it- I can see how those scars still stick around (but now I've got good credit at least! )

$154.99. Not sure how great of a deal that is overall but definitely decent compared to new price. 8GB RAM / 128GB flash variant (which i think is the highest configuration for these?)
Might be better off with a mini PC like a ThinkCentre Tiny or something, but I believe these may be fanless? I can't tell.
The CPUs in these are pre-Ryzen, correct? I think they came out in 2017.
