im scared i cant play it good. Im rocking a 8320 OC'd 10gb ram and a 660ti @ 1080p. I hope ill be good. Im thinking about selling my 660ti for a 7970 or something.
 
Bought to install my new SSD and ram, hopefully helps with the load times and pop in issues.
 
How do you fish AFK? I equip the pole, walk out to the water, Hit space, and walk away. The next day I have 0 fish and a broken pole. I don't have the throw things away checked. Just unlucky?

My AMD CPU runs the game just fine. My buddy with a 670 runs the game fine. There should be a setting that accommodates your system.

Black Desert Online is not currently available for Mac OS or Linux and there is currently no announced plans to release the game for these operating systems.

has to be bad luck because that is all you do.

when i was gone for 40 minutes, i didnt have any fish but i had 2 items worht 150k each like wtf lol. but other times i get fish as well. higher skill improves chances while afk i believe
 
I just bought the game. Is the client download not avalible yet? anyone have the .exe saved still? I want to get a jump on everyone else <3 thanks

Learn about parasitic bees

Am I supposed to just murder bees for all eternity? :) Where do you'll look quests up at?
 
learn about quests, mean you need more knowledge on them and you get that knowledge by killing them.

Sort of like how when you first encounter an enemy the health bar is yellow, then shifts to orange, then shifts to red because you have no knowledge on them.

Then as you get more knowledge you can actually see their health bar drop in a normal fashion as you do damage.

It is the same for the learn about quests you just have to kill them until you gain more knowledge.

There are actually glasses in the cash shop that give you +1 to knowledge which makes it go a little faster.

Man that quest is killer. I say that I have gained at least 6 titles for killing bees from just killing them for hours on in. I could see their health bars days ago. It must be bugged or they want me to get every parasitic bee title to complete it.
 
I have a smallish problem.... My main is supposed to be Ranger but somehow my Valkyrie is already two levels higher. I just love how Valkyrie works. All those pretty much all skills are aoe and shield throw is extremely deadly. With right combos enemies are constantly flying and knocked down and dead shortly after.

I gave my Sorcerer the preorder gear and my Tamer is 2.9 levels higher than the Sorcerer. The Valkyrie is so much fun that I had to pretend that it doesn't exist. I'll never get to the soft level cap at this rate.

I have BDO fever, like 3 hours of sleep each night, and then today servers were down for 6 hours thinking here is my chance and i only slept 5 hours and i am sitting here waiting for the server to go up...
 
My friend just said that the servers will be down for an additional 2 hours?
 
And the loggin issues begin lol, love game launches.

it seems the maint. was extended another hour? to 17:00 UTC which is noon EST.

was extended literally the last minute.

Sooo... Question. I know it's kinda early asking this but how does BD stack up against say Blade and Soul, ToR, WoW?
 
The cash shop is so bad, its missing items that were in the beta, and the prices are still as bad as ever.

Sigh... Daum why do you have to be worst than EA when it comes to being sleazy with a cash shop lol.
 
I made my toon and spoke to 1 person and logged out. I've played the KR version and loved it. I banged out all my work at my office yesterday and nothing new has come in but I just feel weird sitting at my desk playing a game lol. My boss doesnt care at all. Shit I moped the floors and cleaned the front store windows. Theres seriously nothing to do at my job but play black desert. I think im going to wait till tonight for the kids to go to bed, wife to go to work and I'll crack open a beer or 2 and just enjoy. Doesnt anyone have a guest pass they dont intend to use? I have 2 friends who are questioning me on how great it is and I only have 1. Will pay 1$
 
I'll use the borderless fullscreen since I see no point in using the exclusive mode. It works well.

I guess I'll just end up playing my Valkyrie for now...

Fix for 24HZ Found - Guide inside

I managed to finally create a fix for my display so BDO cant muck with the refresh rate, enabling SLI and stuff. Check it out if you need fullscreen mode. Adds around 15-25% performance on a single card, and around 80% SLI scaling in my experience.
