One of the devs said he played 400 hours and was still discovering things. You could make a similar statement about Skyrim so it might be accurate. A lot of Skyrim's stuff was rehashed quests and draugr dungeons, though.
 
Once the good mods start rolling in you'll see how those hours rack up. ;)
 
It's gonna be so great. I love what they've done with power armor. How it's more like a vehicle instead of a suit. And obviously that it's customizable.

Skyrim with DLC's ran me about 200 hours give or take....

But I'd say the game could be beaten in under 60.

If the Fallout 4 base game can give me at least 80 hours, I'll be happy.
 
So far i think the only thing that has annoyed me slightly is the lip sync quality, from the video's i have seen.

They should of paid $10million or how ever much extra it would cost to implement some facial capture with the all the voice acting they did.
 
Funny, 4000 5-star ratings on the Android Pip-Boy app already. I guess people are excited.

Edit: 4800. It went up by 800 after like 15 minutes.

I will say, even though I didn't preorder the PipBoy, I'm still pretty psyched to use my Note 5 while playing.

EDIT: Sounds like people have already hacked the files from the app and are able to play the Pip Boy games that are currently locked. lol

I was planning on having my ipad right there next to me for managing pip boy functions. I just don't think I want that big obtrusive thing on my arm while I sit at my desk lol. Maybe that would work better if you're playing with a controller, though what I hear from the gunplay mechanics is you'd probably rather have a keyboard and mouse.

I'm doing the iPad, and I am uncertain if I'm going to use my controller or kb/m.

can't wait to start the new adventure...kb/m all the way for me...since I ordered from Amazon it won't get here till release day (Tuesday) so I won't be able to jump in as soon as it unlocks on Steam on Monday night
 
As long as my local Target has the PC version (they're pretty good with that) I'll be picking it up Tuesday and taking advantage of their B2G1 Free thing.

Same here, Collector's Edition...sucks because I'd love to pre-load but I actually have something else planned for Tuesday night anyway so as long as I get the game and get it downloading before I have to leave, I'll be good playing on Wednesday. :cool:

Same for me as well. I took off from work Wednesday instead of Tuesday since I don't know exactly when it will be arriving. No point in taking a day off and spending half of it waiting for UPS to show up.
 
the launch trailer makes it sound like the enemy? faction is called 'Sith'...but apparently it's 'synth' as in synthetics aka androids

I never heard it sound like sith, always heard it as Synth in the trailer.

But the mind is a tricky thing i can see how it might sound like sith to someone.

I had to keep the volume down at work so maybe that was it...also I might have Star Wars on my mind with Force Awakens 6 weeks away :D
 
Need to ask, is [don't wanna name them then] legit? They have FO4 for PC for $43..if not what's the best deal out there now?

They're a grey market key reseller. They're legit in that you will get official keys, but they're not an authorized reseller. For that price you might as well just pay a little extra and get it from Greenmangaming, who is an authorized reseller for Bethesda.

Yeah and I'm not sure if there's a guarantee of receiving your key at the same time as people ordering from authorized sellers.
