One more thing, Android is and was a blatant ripoff of iOS. It's so obvious to those of us not blinded by nerd rage it's not even funny. As it stands, android is simply a fork of the original iOS. Essentially meaning all of the core features came from iOS and little bits here and there, for better and worse, were added over time.
I'm not sure if you are trolling, or just ignorant of what the word "fork" means in computer terms.
iOS is based on the darwin kernel (same as OSX) which is based on the bsd kernel, and android is based on the linux kernel with a java-like virtual machine. The only thing these 2 kernels have in common is they are unix compatible (but neither is unix based)
As far as user interface goes, palm had a touch screen with rows of icons long before android and iphone existed.
If you want to talk about ripping off features, who had multitasking first? who had removable storage first?
