I am in the same boat you are brah...This damn game is all I can think about. I am excited to finally push my rig alittle bit. I need my BF3 fix NOW!

I have 5 guys over all the time playing on 2 xboxes.....You really think we want to sit around and watch one person play on each? or have 4 of the 5 guys playing?

Go to a LAN center and play then. This isn't a shitty console game(lol CoD), if you want to play it play it right quit with the sausage fest and get a different set up. I can just see how effective you'd be 4 of your split screened into pin hole heaven, hahah wouldn't be able to see a damned thing.

That or tell them to bring laptops to play, or just, you know... Use skype and play from your different houses on PC, and get rid of your shitty consoles. There are no good games on consoles that are not out for PC so it's ok.

i posted the video the other day and i got the post removed and slapped on the wrist.. the admin said i was trolling. kinda sad they go and post the video as front page news then.

Not a douche bag, just more understanding of the situation. CoD was designed with console kiddies in mind(low attention span), BF3 is more designed towards PC gamers, also focused on bring a unique PC experience AS WELL AS a unique console experience for those that chose to use shitty systems.

I almost think the lack of split screen is probably more of a horsepower situation. Consoles will most likely be taxed with the graphics as it is, let alone two games at the same time on one console.

Either way, check your own shit before attempting to call others out on crap you don't understand(grammar).

Also, those of you with early access and GTX 580 SLI, can you please test it with one and then both cards? I am going to be deciding on getting a second 580, and this game might be a reason to get one for 20% off.

splitscreen can be very fun, did a ton of it with reach mp while drinking with friends

Always on mic kills it for me. (not just for me, OTHER people having always on mic)

On topic; The screenshot of the graphics options was from open beta... did it start earlier than early? (now?)

Its possible that option is greyed out because its not a multi-monitor resolution. They may be trying to reduce cheating of some sort through proper FOV use...or possibly make it less of a guessing game by only giving you a set number of FOV choices.
 
Im suprised that so far the screens taken don't look much better than the alpha graphics, according to dice the beta comes with most of the graphics options, yet im not seeing much in terms of improvement over an alpha that was very limited for settings. :confused:

I will be very disappointed if those are the graphics in the final. It doesn't look any different from Bad Company 2.
