You know its not that bad considering your not using top dollar equipment, but may i ask what case and modular psu you were looking at?

Well guys, I haven't been around for QUITE awhile I know, but I picked up a new case for my mATX system (actually, my wife did) so I thought I'd give you all a taste (and show you all how it's done).
I haven't seen to many pics of the Antec Mini P180 and I was actually extremely surprised at how easy it was to wire everything up nice and neat.

I'm sorry for the crappy picture quality, I have no idea what was going on with my camera yesterday...ended up messing with brightness and contrast a bit so hopefully it doesn't look TO bad. I might get a better picture taken down the road.
The nice thing is that if I don't decide to add any more hard drives to the system I can remove the second hard drive cage and the bar/shelf beneath it to give me room to install a 2x120 radiator and put together a watercooling loop without doing any external modifications to the case.
This case is a dream to work with if you're a mATX fan, so many little details are taken care of...I honestly cannot come up with a SINGLE thing about this case that I have any issues with, congrats Antec.[/QUOTE]
I wanted that case for my build, but I couldn't afford it at the time :(.
Very clean cable management you got there, I'm impressed. The pics look very nice too.comments welcome...

... Cable management and $$ have nothing to do with each other.
higher end graphic cards = more wires for power
higher end psu = more cables
more hard drives (more $$ to buy them) = More cables
It looks to me like he was saying that its easier to do with lower end gear, since higher end gear inevitably requires more power and thus, leaves more cables to deal with. I don't think he was saying you need to spend money to have good cable management. No, cable management is all about skill. If you know what you're doing you can make a non-modular 1000W PSU look modular, and you can make 10 hard drives look like there's no cables running out.
If anything, cable management should be more difficult with lower end gear, since there's a strong possibility that you won't be using a 'higher-end' case with built-in cable routing behind the motherboard tray....It looks to me like he was saying that its easier to do with lower end gear, since higher end gear inevitably requires more power and thus, leaves more cables to deal with. You're quoting the wrong person, I'm not the one who made the original statement. I was just clarifying that statement since Lowtekh appeared to have misunderstood him.If anything, cable management should be more difficult with lower end gear, since there's a strong possibility that you won't be using a 'higher-end' case with built-in cable routing behind the motherboard tray....
And my 1000w HX1000 doesn't, it's modular, so therefore, "not necessarily" still holds. Ultra X3 1600W takes the cake, modular, yet ultra high-end.My 1000w coolermaster PSU has a crap load of cables...
