Zotac Z68-ITX Wifi

I've had that disabled from day one! Buz was never present till BETA BIOS

However rumors of a V2? How do we tell them apart. Response from Zotac is 0

got my new z68itx today after rma, i think it's a new revision and will you explain why...

main changes are on the back of the board with different hi-c caps in different locations, also the digit led post seems to be different

Where did you get the board from? A retailer or straight from Zotac?

Either way, let us know how it goes with that one.

[Edit] Just noticed this, but Bit-Tech has posted a review of the board.

ok so you've a rev 002 and the noise is present, right?

Noise has been present from day one on every one i've had. I had to go into work last night and i checked a few there. Our whole batch is REV 002 so everyone i've had has been 002

[update] i'm testing my new motherboard right now, no noise so far... it's a rev 002 board

Anyone seen this

Zotac Z68-ITX WiFi Overclocking 5GHz

I've mesaged asking what settings he use!

Think we should do a different topic of post your Zotac OC and settings?

haha this guy is from here (brazil), he currently lives in japan and is a nasty old school overclocker. this board was tested, sold and shipped to a user over here who intents to assemble a mini with this and a 590. it should be fun (if the freakin zotac decides to cooperate..) :p

Is the Z68 chipsett needed for 22nm ivy bridge support?

IB should work with the Z68 mobos. May need to do a BIOS upgrade though. P67 is supposedly okay too but it was mentioned it would depend on the mobo manufacturer and model. If you want to buy now Z68 is the better bet. At least that is the info I been hearing.

I've been waiting for this board to be sold at frys, those bastards still don't have it. I wonder when they'll finally have this mobo?

I came from a h67 itx also by zotac, had problems running a video card but it ran the 2600k's IGP like a breeze. I ended up returning it to frys and now I just want the newer z68 itx board.

Can someone with the AXP cooler from Thermaltake please give me an idea of what temps you are getting with this board? I seem to be getting average idle of 39c or so from RealTemp with my 2600k (bios temp is closer to 50c). This being a monster cooler, and this being a cool low idling chip, I expected better results. Thanks

noise has started again, board sent back for a refund :( hope to get the asrock soon

I got little noise when mobo is idling but when i put some heavy on, example intel burn test, noise goes away. I have this similar little noise many mobo's. Usually that noise come when you don't put enough power on mobo.

I fixed this noise to disabling power save mode on bios and now noise is gone. I remember that Asus P5B i have same problem but disabling speedstep help then.

But now... how much MHz you have got with this mobo and 2500k? I got now on my stock cooler about 4100MHz but i think when i got my water cooling i try to 5GHz or 4,5GHz.

Okey i need test that. Because now i use 50x but only got 4100MHz, even i lift that power limit to 250. Maybe i need check some CPU voltage too... 1,3V?

Money can buy new parts. :)
You are changing to Asrock Z68?

True and better when you get them @ cost price! How ever im fedup with Zotac full and really unsure what i want now. Might go AMD APU Llano, better GFX, 4 cores, OC and undervolt it done

Hi,

Is anyone give me tips how i can got 4,5? Now i get only 4,2. Using only watts 150 and 180. I tried put more mV but thats only down my GHz.

1st just use the mutli only.

Leave everything on auto

Get into windows, open cpuz then prime it!

45X should work out the box.

So those watts should be on that 95 or something defaults?

Nope. It's safe.

Just use the multi or it will go POP!

XMP does work if your ram offers it.

Honestly the dude is right, you'll get fed up with it or it will go pop very soon!

Tried prime 95 @ stock yet and hear it buz
