I like seeing another vendor making quality cards, going above and beyond the reference design. I like the cooler design. Not too shabby for a newcomer to the scene.
It would be nice to get a Galaxy card, I think you guys are doing the right thing by being engaged with your potential customer base here on this forum. This is better than advertising, if a person here buys your card and has a question or problem, having a rep on these forums is a big help.
I'd say keep open the lines of communication, that's more important than ever.
Kinda like how if you disagree with any reviews here by Kyle and the gang, you can criticize it all you want and someone will reply if your criticism is valid.
To me, that's exactly what i'd want if i owned and operated a business with the target demographic of the user base here.
Don't think I heard about Galaxy until [H] reviewed their card. They seem to be doing well so far. The tilt out fan is a good idea. Keep up the good work.
A year ago? never heard of them. Now? I see them in the top 5 list for Nvidia products on Newegg. I wouldn't mind getting a Galaxy for my next Nvidia card.
I think Galaxy still needs to work on proving they are quality cards. If the same model Galaxy, Asus, and Gigabyte are all the same price I'm probably going to take the Asus or Gigabyte card just because I think there is less of a chance of failure (even if that's not true). I still view Galaxy as a "value" brand.
Galaxy obviously has impressed the community and likewise myself with everything they have brought to the market with not only their cooling designs but pricing as well. <3
Haven't heard too much about Galaxy, which may be part of the problem. They should step up their presence a notch and make it clear that they're around and how they can differentiate themselves from the numerous reference cloners that don't seem to last.
Honestly, with all of the shakeups that have happened with Nvidia branded cards, Galaxy has carved itself a nice little niche. I'd like to see them become more mainstream, but they are doing quite well considering major players have folded.
Well honestly I've seen a lot about Galaxy in the last year and i know it was an advertising blitz but i haven't heard anything bad, so thats good in my book!
Contests are always fun, especially when they involve hats, and pulling a random number out of them.
