I'm really impressed with the wiring. Mine sucks, the PSU wires are so short I have to bring them directly to the CD and hard drives.
Yeah, it really took a while to route them. I was planning on reversing the drives, but the fan blades kept hitting the power cables. Someday I'll get around to modding the bracket.

Specs:
ABIT IC7-G / P4 3.0 @ 3.5 (northwood)
1gb Adata Viesta PC4000
BFG 6800GT w/ NV Silencer
PCP&C 510 Deluxe
EMU 0404 (modded)
Audigy 2
160gb Seagate / 120gb WD SE
Plextor 712SA
Lots of other little things here and there.

Oh, and you elitist bastards threadcrapping on this thread need to go somewhere else.

oh yea a note to theTT guy just mho, the window on the Tsunami looks better then the one on the armor, you get a better view of the inside

Yup... Don't ask me what happened with the windows on the Armor/Kandalf....

On the brighter side, we have the Armor now with solid side panel so all you modding gurus can actually make a window you LIKE!

WTF where is it at, oh..................hmm would it be possible for you to send me one of those lovely side panels :D if not I will do my best not to cry :(

Hey, anyone have a 6800GT or 7800 series card in a Tsunami? I'm wondering if they fit in there fine, or if you'd have to move harddrives out of the way...

I'd like to pick up a Tt armor for my next rig... When is the mini armor coming out? That thing looked sweet.

Drives in the 2nd or 3rd slot will contact the molex power connector on a 6800GT AGP, and most likely a 7800 also. Just move your drive(s) to the bottom, looks better :)

I have two hard drives up top and I have a 7800 evga 7800gt their. I had a 6800 before that. no problem, the pci-e power is a little tight, but no trouble really.

Yeah I'd like to move them down low, but my PSU cables wont even reach that far. :(

I'm thinkin of splicing the wires, it'd make everything a lot neater. I don't really have money to spend, Im' savin' up for a new rig.

Also, the way my motherboard is layed out right now, the HDDs are right on top of the where the IDE cables come out of the motherboard, so it looks alright. I wish I could get some pictures...

Gonna RMA my video card next week. :(
While the card is out, i will make a couple wires disappear. I then will post my pic..
(I say that alot.. sorry) :p

I had alot more to say but netscape crashed and lost my clipboard cut, anyway ok case, good for beginners but has limits to cooling and performance, im looking forward to maybe a P180 case or something along those lines with a bottom mounted PSU and hard drive cage, defnitely steering clear of the side windows, the cool view aint worth the performance cut. Anyway here she is;

my workspace, aint much now but ill make more of it when i move out

longrage view of the side
P1010088.jpg

upclose
P1010089.jpg

lights! funny that 3 of those fans ended up being LED's without my knowledge, but it worked out ok i guess
P1010070.jpg

extra 120mm fan next to the PSU to push the air down and to the back
P1010090.jpg

the inside of the door, nothing too special
P1010092.jpg

[edit] i dusted everything VERY well after seeing these pictures on the post, yea i was thinking of adding a filter to the side intake, since its a 120mm it draws more air and more dust, anyone have any links for a 92mm dust filter?

When i have a Mitsubishi 55615 Integrated HDTV haha
thats cool then. This is my first thermaltake case.. i like it. Its really large and full of room to work with.

Wow, I really like that color. Wiring could use a bit of help, but the lighting is very well done. Is that UV lighting or a purple cold cathode or what?

ah, its not that cool color of light. oh well.. that would be really hard to get.

Still a sweet job though man!

holy friggin big pictures batman!

you've got a very nice setup there. Nice LCDs man. :)

Nice to see another Tsunami owner.

looks pretty stock though, i've ripped out and replaced every fan in my tsunami twice, maybe three times over :D . Anyone done any interesting mods to a tsunami case?

I'm not using the generic fans either...

As for cool mods, I say someone put a fillport underneath the little flip cover on the top, but that was a Shark, not a Tsunami. I'm thinking of repainting the toolless pci clips, and I'm trying to figure out what would be the best place to mount a hypothetical 120mmx2 radiator, since I would like to water cool sometime.

Oh, one cool mod is to drop a 12 or 15 inch cold cathode light tube down the front, instead of those 2 blue LEDS. You get a nice sheet of bright light coming out, it looks very cool. I had one, but then the cold cathode broke. That's 2 broken CCFLs I have now, starting to tick me off.

meh not a fan of cathode lighthing, but as for the radiator idea this case isn't really built for water cooling, and i dont know about anyone else here with just air cooling its a tight fit as it is with the IDE and molex cables. . good luck managing that.

Had an idea about mounting one on the bottom my Tsunami but im not sure if it would fit. else its rab box on the back.

ya, that would work, you'd just need to make sure you had enough ventilation under the case. just dont let it sit on the carpet.. :D

looks like cutting a hole in the top, or hangin it off the back are the best options then... or you could do a single 120 in the back and a single 120 on the bottom or top. That would work well.
