The Official Post Pics of your Boxen/ Folding rigs/ Farms

I updated my server and fileserver farm, the box on the left is a dual p3 xeon, Proliant storage system, next a Belkin 1000va ups, a proliant 1600, a proliant 5500, up top a dual p3 866mhz and a 1.8ghz file server.

Finally have my farm really up and running and consolidated. I also noticed this thread has been pretty quiet lately so here is a pic of my farm......

Is it just me, or are several of those motherboards unplugged from the network? And why do they all have IDE cables hanging off them with no drive attached?
 
That definately brings a more true definition of the "Hanging Garden" :D

I see network cables connected. Maybe its running fold server so it dosen't need hard drives.

Ah, I didn't see the add-in NIC on the board just above-and-to-the-right of the monitor
 
Yep, they're all networked, the IDE cables are there to make it easier to plug the CD-ROM back in if I have to restart the client. They all booted off of notfred's folding CD generator and then I hot[un]plugged the drives... :eek:

I had that in mind as I set it up, I just wish I was a better photographer... What I really want to do it suspend it all from one point on the ceiling and balance it mobile style... First I need a higher ceiling I guess... The PSUs are attached to the straps by magnets BTW... :cool:

Should have been all together by now, but my soldering iron's gone a bollock :(

And yeah, good ole PS2 steering wheel, works great with the computer too, force feedback and all.

The IBM is for work, Dell is for personal usage, and the "P3" is one I'm fixing up to give to my sister.

Mind telling me what volt, etc are your cpu on cause I have the same cpu here... I got the Toledo version although. And right now I can't overclock due to heat in a friends place where I'm stayin at right now until the 28th... I'm gonna crank it to 2.6 for sure and maybe 2.7 on air. I'm also seeking some exotic cooling so that I could push it to 3.0 :eek: Fold away regardless...
