Shitfag has responded on the Youtube video, and apparently paged one of his douchebag little buddies.

Anyone want to try and track down a phone number and call his parents?:D
 
You guys need my help. Im really good at tracking down people. One time this kid posted a video of himself 4 wheeling on the beaches here on LI, abusing his fishing license privilage (which gives him 4x4 access to the beach). Tracked him down, and he ended up calling the cops on me because he was scared and a lot of people were emaling him and threatening him. Cops just told me to let it go and his dad showed up and apologized. Im actually friends with the kid now.. but anyway... i can probably find the guy.

I also posted a comment on his little youtube video.

Griefing can be fun, but this servers a bit different as we all know, its a memorial server
 
And I just started on book 4 of the Song of Fire and Ice series. Glad I got something to do! :)

Great series, I'm just finishing up the 3rd now, and I already have 4 on my phone, plan on reading it during the long drive to my family reunion.
 
Oh, and as far as that griefer goes, is there any chance that we could possibly get something going on the official minecraft forums about this? Tell them about the server history, hashmang, etc.

I mean, I doubt he'll care about a few people on some random computer hardware forum, but if we could get a chunk of the MC community on his ass..

I'm usually pretty laid back about this kind of stuff, but the fact that the kid knowingly defaced a memorial to a deceased individual pisses me off quite a bit.

Edit: I took a look at a few of his other youtube videos. Apparently it's a group of multiple people who go around different servers causing all sorts of shit. And by the sound of it, they're only about 12-14 years old.

I found a recruiting thread for his little group earlier today. Between all the joke applications (that forum didn't seem to care for his punk ass either) were a bunch of 10-14 year olds. And his newest butt buddy who is claiming to either be 20 or 17, depending on the site.
 
I've been following [H]ardcraft since it started (been thinking about buying Minecraft myself), and I can't believe someone would deface the server like that. Bring back the whitelist imo. I hope restoration goes well.

LegendaryCraft has rules that we need in order to have a peaceful server. We Don’t allow griefing and your creations can be freely protected by an admin using WorldGuard. We have logblock plugin to catch, ban, and rollback what an individual griefer has done


worldguard??? to rollback what a griefer has done.....that sounds handy
 
I'm 18 now, but good lord. When I was younger (around the age that these kids are now) I was never so deprived for attention that I allowed myself to go online and act like an asshat. The fact that a kid who claims to be around the age of an adult is going around doing this kind of stuff is just sad.

Failure to society, anyone?
 
I blame Xbox Live for the downfall of online society. The dude who recorded the video is no older than 14 at most, like I said, this fucker left a cookie trail somewhere, and karma is a bitch..... :D

BTW, the server must have been rebooted, i'm getting connection refused messages now.
 
I have an idea why the server isn't working... and am working on fixing it.
 
The server is back up! I think the automatic backup deleted the entire server folder contents. It was empty. I copied a backup timestamped to about noon today. I was able to log in!

I noticed a lot of notices for pailstone on startup though; saying it's invalidating signs. So.... let me know if everything is okay!

I need to get some freelance work done, and spend some quality time with the wife before I can get back into playing... sorry people!
 
I'm at 1.7.2 and getting in. Try closing and reopening. BTW, I think that timestamp on the backup must be wrong, all the work I did in repairing Buck's hotel is still there and I know for a fact that was afternoon.
 
So really how can we unify and teach this kid a lesson he will not ever forget. To be honest his parents should both be slapped for raising such a disrespectful kid. I know if my kid acted like that he/she wouldn't see daylight again, Cause I'd kill them for it. I know that on the server are enough computer knowledge to be able to get revenge on this kid. We need to unify and collaborate on this. That way the kid will learn some boundaries that his parents failed to instill in him.
 
Are we really going to sink to their level? I mean seriously? They are 12 year old kids who take pride and joy in destroying other peoples work, there only going to feed off of us retaliating, thats what they want. We are the bigger people here who have ideals and a straight path. They are not going to see reason or care to. They enjoy sitting behind their mommies and daddies to protect them when the going is tough. We have been around long enough to know how the tough gets going. Let them do as they please, because one day they will hit the wrong people and realize how truly bad things can be for them.

they buy MC accounts that other crack and brute force according to what I've seen on that forum so far.


they do it purely for fun.. one of the requirements is to be at least 13 lol... I guess the 10 year old that applied is our of luck... lmao...

You can set it up so each user has to log in when joining the server, and I'm pretty sure you can also make it so users who aren't promoted to at least a certain user level can't even move. This is done with a plugin, I had something like that on my server a long time ago, but I don't remember the name of it.
 
Can I get whitelisted please? Used to play under invert07, sold account to my brother, and now made another one cause I wanna start playing again :)

Vaporizze is the name now haha
