You see how that's done? you show your source/proof of where you see or read something. I know it's great to hear things about 1.8. but people constantly throwing out random info and release dates without a source or anything is getting people's hopes up. For all we know 1.8 will be the final release in november :-P

Anyone else having troubles logging into minecraft.net today? I was able to log in once around noon or so, but haven't been able to other than that.

Oh, look at that... As soon as I posted, I was able to log in, lol. Took me 6 or so tries, though.

He has been unbanned, he will need to log in and hear the rules before he gets build privileges.
 
Built 2 levels of a castle, and my mine is several levels deep, got some gold ore, iron ingots, and a lot of red stone.

I MUST GO DEEPER!

Also, I have a cool idea for my castle, I'm gonna build a bunch of rooms in it, and turn it into like, a hotel, i think thatd be cool
 
I glassed up my house, found some diamonds, made some diamond pickaxes, and completed the 3rd level of my house, and i glassed up the area above my humble hut.
 
Hehe nice, Im trying to build a dock/harber bridge over some water, gonna build a tower in the center of the bridge lol
 
I haven't had any problems with lag. Just some general information, we have wildfires all around us, some as close as 25 miles away. It is uncertain how close they will make it to where Greatone and and me are located at, or what kind of connection issues will go on either. I will post further if I see I need to.

Do you have an option? Everytime I run it, it auto updates itself. I've never been through a client update yet, only been playing since 1.7.3.

I don't think you can say both of those in the same sentence then lol... there hasn't been any updates since 1.7.3, so you the "everytime I run it, it auto updates" can't be true ;p




it SHOULD ask if you want to update, just say not now.
 
What it's probably saying is checking for updates. Which the client does on every login. I believe in the options on the launcher you can double check if it will automatically download and apply an update.

Well I've reimaged my PC a few times in the last few weeks, first when I upgraded and 2nd when I caught an SSD on sale after the fact. Not to mention the fact that I installed in on my laptop.

So, yes, my client(s) has(have) updated a few times, smart ass :p :p

If you have the old launcher it will force an update when one is available. There's a newer launcher that gives you a choice.

It was pretty lame, but honestly, what' they've added can't be quantified in a visual trailer. Mostly what they've done is laid the groundwork for a whole new way the game is going.

I like the fact it's going to be a more sandbox adventure type game.
 
I wonder how long the NPC villages will last on Hardcraft...
