mmmmm, The Nether!!!!!!!

Oh and Greatone, if you find a way to remove peeps from idle specifically, add me too. I afk alot, have alot of stuff I have to handle between times.

Yea tnt is a good idea, btw dogchain can you invite me to your home? I need some gunpowder for mountain ;), and now that no afk is enabled.. I cant get any more gunpowder
 
Hey there. Big minecraft fan here. Been a member of a small server, mainly building our own things in what I'd call the best world I've ever been on, but the admin has been having troubles keeping his server online. (I'm from the UK so there's the time difference for the US an all).

Anyway, I've been looking for another server I could get active on, and I came across this thread. You guys look cool and respectful, which is exactly what I'm looking for. I always have a fear of people messing with my stuff and with you guys I don't think I'd have this problem.

My rank is Limp Gawd, so I don't think there's any problem asking me to be whitelisted please? :)

Not a problem, will get you on the whitelist, and just to make the transition easier, we do have a lock system that will help get the edge off till you really get to know us better ;-)
 
Will the Nether be coming back? If not, then I'm, once again, homeless. :(

When you rebooted yesterday it was gone, or at least my /home told me that world did not exist.
 
depends, until someone travels to the nether by portal, the world doesn't load. once someone goes to the nether by portal, then it loads it.

The way our nether works, it's a second map on the server, the nether mod basically adds functionality to the portal by warping you to the other map... it's basically like running 2 servers in 1...

when I load the server, at the end of the log it says Loaded: Hardcraft1 but says nothing about netherworld

i think it would be boss if the nether transported us to the original hardcraft map... with my castle ;)

Update with Wolves and Achievements coming this week according to Notch's tweets.
Can I get a YAY?

edit: "We're focusing on doing an update today, but stats and achievements are getting pushed back to the next update because they don't work."
and: "Yes, the game will ask you if you want to update. Just click "no" until the mod is updated. =)"

so, no achievements, but wolves hopefully, cookies as a recipe too i guess. dont update the game though, until greatone says so, you wont be able to connect to hardcraft if you update.

Update seems to be out, but it didn't prompt me whether to update so now I can't login. Yearrgh.

I was never prompted for the update but when i go to login on multiplayer it says the server is outdated. Is there something i can do?:confused:

You need to download the new client from minecraft.net which gives you a choice to update or not and then replace the files with the older version. What OS do you have? I can send you the files if you PM me your email address.
 
I have a hunch that invert07 will not be coming back to Nether anytime soon. :p

On that note, I finally got done rebuilding my house from your visit. I was getting bombarded once per second by an invisible ghast plus all the visible ghasts. Was a warzone out there.
 
I was doing some random wiki browsing and saw that the new update includes brown and pink sheep.
 
Hey, any chance I could get added to the whitelist for the hardcraft server? I'm not a griefer and I'm a veteran Minecraft player and a programmer!
