Set your heaters to 30% or 20% and fans to 100% when benching with high vcore. Set it up to default for regular use to prevent condensation. Hope this will help.Arseface said:What cooling are you using for that, jikdoc? Vapo LS?
I'm using a Vapo XEII for mine, and I'm getting the impression that the XEII struggles to remove all the heat from an overclocked FX55 at higher voltages. I'm not going to go out and buy an LS though!
Hopefully the san-diego core won't put out as much heat as the 130nm FX55, and I'll be able to compete with the guys who have the more hardcore cooling At the moment it seems, from looking round, that I'm only getting clocks midway between those of guys on water, and those using a LS / MachII GT.
Edit: same components as yours...got 3.44Ghz... short benched stable (aquamark3/sandra) and 3.40G on 3D'01 withLS evap. temp. at -48C load.
