As I'm traveling at the moment I only have access to my laptop, desktop above. The wallpaper and some of the icons in Object Dock were photoshop'd for color consistency. The windows theme is one of my own creations based off of the media center skin. (available here http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/52472727/)
mrgulabull....thanks for sharing your theme ! until now i was using the zune theme and never was realy satisfied with it, but thanks to you it's way better now :
Hehe, is funny how so many people use this one. Here is mine, just to need to get better icons for my RocketDock: (click for full-size) OMG, this is one of the cooles wallpapers I've ever seen. Link plz. This is my new replacement.
OMG, was right there in my face and I never saw it. Thanks a lot men.I think I deserve one of this. Anyways, Can anyways help me out with Samurize. I want to customize my taskbar, windows, etc...Just like WindowsBlind, but FREE. I read about UxTheme, but I also read of people messing up their pc for not doing it right. So, can I achieve the same customizing abilities with Samurize that I would of with WindowsBlind? Or any other FREE program that is not as memory dependent as WB is?
No worries mate, glad you found it to fit your desktop. The changes you make with UxTheme are reversible. The only danger would be if you downloaded a theme loaded with a virus, but I'd consider that an almost 0 risk. Best of all there is no additional overhead in terms of memory / cpu usage. I made a blacked out version of the windows media theme that available here. UxTheme and simple instructions are packaged in the zip to make things easy. finally got around to using beryl + emerald on my ubuntu feisty machine. click for fullsize. Thanks for the tips Loke dirty: Clean:
the recycle bin has been full for a LONG Time apparently. I didn't even notice until you siad something. lol *ok its empty now*
something changed cause when i first posted that quote, not even the picture in the quote showed up and now it is Lol but its working for me too now though
Am I the only one that noticed that in the pictures above, the thumbnail and the actual picture are not the same. They even have different times, and one has the recycle bin full, and the other one empty. Busted! Good to hear that.
Welcome to the "Clean desktop" area, I would post more, but I seem to change so quickly I never remember to take screen shots of them all.
I have the same desktop but I usually have a wallpaper cycler going because I hate having the same desktop image all the time. Do you mean dynamic in that way or in the PLmatt91 way where I change the entire desktop every couple of weeks?
You can create an active desktop by creating an HTML code for the image to change at a certain time of a day and set that HTML page as the background.
