The Lian Li PC-700 Thread :-)

These cases show up on a chinese site with price tag.........

http://list.tmall.com/search_produc...ch_custom=&nav=spu-key&navlog=7&from=rs_1_key

I calculated it in euro for the 700wx version 2199 Yuan = 264 euro!!! = 349 us dollar!!!

Normal version of the 700:

1799 Yuan = 216 euro = 286 us dollar

I'm not going to bother with the bigger brother the 750....

If this is true then it's insane! Would you pay this amount for a medium case a bit larger then the Pc-05nb?

Imo it's not worth the price could be just estimates until the official release and retail price.

I just bought the V354 to hold me over until a LL sale on Newegg for these cases.
They will be $200+, the V600s started off like that and the V700s are better.

The V600s dropped over 50% in value at one point on Newegg.

I'm in a similar situation with a new IB build. I'm not sure if I should go with the V354 or wait for the V700. Can the V354 handle an SLI configuration?

Nice case, not sure how I feel about where the PSU mount is though.

its just like the a05nb front psu place wont matter much. I wonder if you can reverse the mobo tray and have inverted atx for better gpu cooling.

Priced right where I expected. But I'd prefer if they offered a black internal with no side window. I'd rather make my own window.....

Guys, I must be missing something, the psu is exhausting hot air out the front of the case... so wouldn't the front fan directly above the psu be sucking that warm air back into the case?

yes but it’ll intake from the bottom not from the inside

psu in front is nothing new when it comes to Lian Li design, A05 used very similar psu position

It actually intakes from the bottom just like A05
to me it looks exactly same as A05, you attach rear of the psu to the front of the case (and that is exhaust).

no it intakes from the front and the PSU exhaust from the front (imo it shouldn’t be an issue)
the A05 PSU fan and front fan exhausts from the front (so there was no concerns)

Oh now i see your point. Well, what is the prob to set front fan as intake (and make similar airflow to A05)? it is just matter of how we set the fans.

the front fan is already intake unless you're talking about the PSU fan

You can flip the front fan, I'm talking about the case fan. I believe it is removable, as any standard fan..

I might just wait till next year and Haswell to build at all. Do a ground up build. I'm with World Exclusive, I'm doing the PCV750WX too, if it is like other Lian Li cases, as I want the all black interior. But I may have to order another solid side panel so I can lose the window if I chose, while keeping the all black interior. I don't want to see it, I just like knowing its there. Ha ha.

they are slow with updating their site, still no pics of other announced full towers

This is very tempting - I've been wanting to downsize my case for a while and this looks like one of the smallest ATX cases available.

I've also been thinking about the new Silverstone GD07 or GD08 (whichever one has the locking panel) because a desktop case might work really well for me.

I have a new adjustable height desk coming in a couple weeks and the Level 10 GT is so big that the desk can technically lower enough to crush it - I need something a little shorter.

Does anyone know how loud these cases are? It's been a while since I had an Aluminum case - my previous case was a Cosmos S and did not have vibrations/resonance - that is the main worry I have with this thing. I think a pair of 680s should be fine but since this thing has a window, I kind of wish I had matching cards - oh well.

when you’ll order it? any H100 plans? are going to flip the AX850 upside down like the guy in the Chinese site? I’m planning to use the Seasonic Platinum 860 with it but want to keep it’s silver fangrill up.

They're pretty quiet. Just use high cfm but low rpm fans.

Temping but I just finished powdercoating the V354. I'm going to wait until the 750 is released.
I need more than one front intake fan.

I just realized that this case has no filters.

I get a little dust in my system even with the good filters on the L10GT and if I got one of these, it would be ridiculous.

:(

I has a filter attached to the fan. Most of LL filters today are designed that way.
The filter twists off the fan.

Really? I have not been able to see this and I thought they added an F to cases with a filter...

Now I'm interested again :)

Edit: I can't find any mention, picture or other indication of a front fan filter.

Wonder if this will fit my EVGA Classified board with an AX1200 and two graphics cards?

I have an X900 and would love to get a smaller case.
