The Lian Li Gallery

Guess depends what you want. I prefer everything to be internal. Not big on having items sticking out.

heres my a05. i love this case. its sleek... not flashy at all. just a simple sexy computer box :D

modded it slightly to add a blowhole and also got the lian cd bezel.

specs are in my sig.

im gonna have this case for a long time

That's what i said when i bought Antec Solo 1,5 years ago. Since that i had PC-A09B, PC-V1000B Plus II, and now i have PC-V1110A :D.

i know where you're coming from.

in the last two years ive had

a gigabyte aurora 570, a rocketfish fulltower and now this. Reason I think I'll stay with the a05 is because you cant find a case that's as small (but big enough to fit long video cards) and sleek as this one. anodized and brushed aluminum

@all
thanks for the comments to my Wall-E Pics. :)

Too bad that external rad looks tacky as hell.

i know that such a design like my htpc is verry special and some people don´t like it - but calling others work "tacky as hell" is somekind impolite.
i think to say that you don´t like it because you like cases with eyerything built internal would have been enough. there´s no need to offend others work. ;)

Sorry if I offended, but I'm not gonna bother to change how I speak. I type the way I speak and text doesn't show tone.

Really nice wiring there bud! How does the push pull method work out on your heatsink??

The hdds don't get real bad do they? I doubt they'd push enough heat to screw over the vidcard behind them.

You can take the PCIe power cables, flip them so they run across top of the vidcard, run them down, then tuck them along the side of the PSU. Would look a little cleaner than the way they are now.

I'd raise up the top cover and try to run the cables flat across under that to keep it even cleaner, but it doesn't really matter, my case is a mess anyway compared to many in this thread.

Thanks. Its actually working quite well, im run my Q6600 at 3.4-3.6 and the temps are fine, very pleased with its performance.

HDDs are very cool, all between 28 and 30C

Ya. My cables aren't long enough try to hide. Even then, the bottom is fully open, so nowhere to even hide the cables.

The bottom uses an open mesh for both sides. Air in one side, out the other. I've still been too lazy to bother to mount the watercooling on my GPU, after I upgraded off my old 7900GTX.

Finally got around to redoing my system.
Added a BlackIce GTX 120
2x Full coverage obsidian blocks for my 8800GT's
Lighting and spiral looming
All that's left is to cut the side panel to accomodate the window!

Sup guys, it's been a while since I posted. If you want, you can check my old pics HERE. I just wanted to update, since I partially cleaned my pc like 2 weeks ago. :D I'm still learning how to take pictures, I'm horrible. :(
This is the rig in my signature. Rocking the Lian Li Pc-7BW Plus II:

My aging paint job + Bad cable management = Not attractive.

Man, all these nice shiny cases, I think I'm going to have to go to Meijer after my sleep and get some canned air and clean my case out. :)

Finished main (or the current iteration of it at least :D)

Used an S-Flex with the PlusII fan bracket; 4830 temps dropped 10c at idle and load. (39c idle / 60c load)

Will be working on oc over the next few days then it's on to building #2 (again).

I should get some new pics up here... not that much has changed, I just don't think the others, older ones, are even online anymore...

Anyone have an A17? Been considering this case for a new build.

Too bad PC-V1x00 cablemanagement sucks compared to PC-V1x10. Going from PC-V1000B Plus II to PC-V1110A it was much easier to hide cables than before. Of course my 7 HDD's helps that a little bit, but still a lot easier.

Yeah, also looking at an A17, or A7110 for a transplant, but probably later down the road.... much later.

I like the desk. ;)

Good cabling on the interior and like how the compoents aren't cluttered together.

Those kinds of Lian Li cases have a great idea of compartments for each thing.

Thanks man. Temporary "assembly table" right there. ;)
Yep I agree...lots of places to hide stuff, just gotta tinker and work around things.

Before cutting the 2" gap in the divider panel behind the 5.25 bays I would have agreed with you, but since doing that - cable management is a breeze. :) Thanks again to everyone else who did that mod before me and posted about it (TooBooKoo especially for some killer cable management).

Makes a HUGE difference.

I did the exact same thing with my V1100, still a tight fit for all the cables for 4 drives and a modular PSU coming around the back there.

That looks realy nice mate.
Have you had the innards painted white, cus that looks sick man.

Yeah, I drilled the rivets, took it apart and painted it all myself :)

I'll be having white lighting/black components inside.
