Anybody have some motherboard/CPU with an AGP slot that they aren't using? I just received a trio of retro-ish AGP cards (FX5500, 9700 pro, x800 xt) but I have no way to test them.

9700 pro ... I remember with the 9500 pro with L shaped memory layout were first discovered to unlock. Golden era of overclocking and hardware hacking
 
Anyone have a 256gb m2 drive? I'm trying to revive an older ultrabook for my dad.

Anyone have an old or dead Pixel 4a they are not using? Google sent out a mandatory update that gimps the battery, but also offer a $100 discount code for the Google Store as an appeasement.

Are you serious, I'm on a Pixel 6A and its running fine, and a notice an update is available today. Does it affect the 6A?

Yep, serious. Only affects some Pixel 4a though as there were 2 different suppliers of the battery cells.. Haven't seen anything about 6a as I bought a refurbished 6a from the Google store using the discount code. Want to do it again for a 2nd 6a.

  • retail package XP Pro (bonus Encarta! woo)
  • retail package XP Home upgrade
  • unopened Microsoft Home Server OEM (which I think is Microsoft Windows Pro 7 system builder pack).
The OEM sw will come with some ram to meet transfer requirements if needed. XP software packs are great if you need an original XP disk.

AOpen AX4B-533 (Regular, not tube version)- Posts but is in need of new caps.

Unknown, presume issues:
Seagate STT32000A
Random expansion cards in the box.
Couple of MBs, Celeron SL5XS and Athlon A1200 were pulled from them.
First looks to be:

I’m putting together a pc for my sons friend I do not believe his family has much and he’d be thankful for a pc to play games on. I have the case motherboard cpu and power supply. I need drr4 ram, and some sort of gpu that can do 1080p. Thanks!

Shoutout for the nice looking Epok KT266A motherboard that arived today. No clue if it works yet, but if not, I'll be bringing her back to life and maybe do another retro build around it. :)

Update: Doesn't post, C1 code. 99% sure it is the caps based on physical observation and behavior. I'll recap it on a weekend when I'm bored or something and bring it back to life. Such a unique retro board.

Edit to say they are the universal KVM cables for many switches. Not propietary.

What type of KVM cables?--unless they're individual cables, ime the combo types are proprietary and may not work outside of their own manufacturer's box.
 
ISO a case for a galaxy s21 (regular size)

Backstory: last May I lost my phone while riding a roller coaster at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg. I have since been through 3 phones replacing it. Last Monday, I got an email from Busch Gardens that they found my phone and (after paying an exorbitant shipping fee) I have been reunited with my long lost phone which is somehow still fully functional. BUT they returned it without the Spigen case it had been in. So yeah, now I need a case lol.

Wow, I bet that was a surprise!

There are quite a few cases for the S21 on Amazon and eBay that are the price of a coffee or hamburger. I'm looking at some now that are as low as $3.99 w/free Prime delivery, but even if you don't have Prime there are lots on eBay for less than $6 shipped (usually slow boat from China, though).

That assumes that you're simply looking for any case to throw on for protection, though. If you're looking for something a little bit better, I get it...and I'm sure someone who upgraded still has an old case stuck in a drawer or something. Been through that cycle several times myself even though I only upgrade my phone every few years. :)

yeah, was hoping for something "name brand" but if not, I guess I will go the ebay route.

Anyone have a 2.5" HDD/SSD any size they could part with, want to toss it into a mini PC to be sure it still will run ok. Seems to boot fine off of USB but no HDD to put an OS on makes it hard.

All gone to atwood7fan

I have no way to test anymore, but I only ever kept known working pulls so unless it died from being lonely and unused for years it should work.
