On FC4 visuals:

The first crossbow kill looked ridiculous with that death animation. The enemy was shot from behind and to the side, and his body reacted by falling backwards as if something really heavy and fast hit his chest.

Visuals seemed underwhelming for an up an coming AA title. I can't believe they wanted to showcase the 1998 "particle" effect around the elephant showering itself with its trunk. Looked like sprites lol

Also can't believe we don't have round barrels in 2014... poly edge edge edge edge just terrible. All this is secondary if the game is brilliant though, game play wise.

I've never even heard of Uncharted... but from that video it kinda looks like Far Cry 1?

Also, that FC4 video leaves me kinda disappointed. It looks like exactly the same game, just a different location. They should have been showcasing the different or better things from FC3 with the time they had at E3. Ending with "Fortress Liberated" just let me down. I did that enough in FC3.
 
No Man's Sky looks great. Wonder when it will release. It looked pretty well along already. And what to get it on PS4 or PC? PS4 is coming out first, but PC is PC....

Not like FC at all. The Uncharted series is basically a linear, puzzle-solving, third-person adventure game. Good writing and visuals have been the standard since it began, but it's a polarizing series: you either love it or don't care at all.
 
Bethesda decided to take a break from suing Oculus to throw together a CG teaser trailer for a game that's been in development for five years by a studio that is now comprised of an entirely different set of developers than those who created the original game.

Quite possibly. There are some things stacked against the project, but you never know. Then again I tend to like their other games that people seem to hate like Quake IV and RAGE... ...so
 
Getting pretty hype for Nintendo! Wii-U will likely be in my future this year. IMO it's a great supplementary system for people who may game primarily on PC and don't need exclusives from XB1 or PS4, or just can't justify that purchase.

The fact that Nintendo is positioning Smash Bros. to be taken seriously as a legit fighting game (which it kind of was before, but it never had Nintendos support in that way) is really huge.
 
I REALLY REALLY want to play that new Zelda but that's about it, seems like a lot of money to spend for one game.
 
Good lord, why are Japanese game developers still trying to look like rockstars. It only works if you look good.

Yeah it would be for only one game. I mean there are more that interest me, but I definitely would just play Zelda at a friend's house or something if that was the only interesting thing for me.
 
So much good Nintendo stuff. It's all I have looked at so far. Obviously 1st party titles look amazing. Splatoon looks badass though too.
 
I actually couldn't be more glad that I picked up a Wii U. None of the games I've picked up so far have disappointed me in any way. MK8 pretty much perfected MK. There was always this or that thing that could have been better, but I can't think of anything that I'd change with 8 other than more content. I guess battle mode for some people. I personally never played much battle though.

Wind Waker, NSMB, SM3DW, etc. are all spot on too.

The new Zelda looks perfect (so far...) though if they don't release a PilotWings game they've ruined everything for me. :D
 
Yeah the Wii-U definitely seems a bit more appealing now, though I can't see myself spending too much on one in any case.

So, if the Playstation TV will be able to play PS One gamws does that mean the PS4 will finally support playing them as well? The PS TV can play PSP, and Vita games too, so it would be nice if the PS4 can as well.

PS TV is Vita without screen/controller
