This is why I only ever purchased one game through Origin. BF3 at release.. If EA stuck with Steam we'd all be playing by now after downloading at 10MB/s
 
Just showed up for me after reloading! Needless to say the download speed is awful.. In fact it's not even downloading.. Just preparing...

I'm pretty sure he was referring to the big "GEFORCE GTX" in the machine. Considering the X1's hardware, these demo/dev machines are over powered.
 
I eventually made it through sign up, it said I got in and to login to origin to download it.

Problem is that it is not showing up for me in Origin.

Took 25 minutes to show up for me... Again.. You can't even download it. It's been on "Preparing Download" for 5 minutes now..

Origin and Uplay are awful when it comes to releases and their store fronts collapsing under the pressure.

I think EA is trying to save face with this Hardline beta. They just spent about 5 minutes on Twitch telling people they REALLY WANT FEEDBACK THIS TIME YOU GUYS.

Almost nothing reported in the BF3 and BF4 Beta actually seemed to matter, and the BF4 launch didn't go terribly well so maybe they are listening this time. Maybe.

Sunset Overdrive - It looks like it could be fun, but not enough to buy a XB1.

Dragon Age Inquisition - looked good in the Microsoft conference, but the EA conference killed some of it for me. I never played the previous Dragon Age, but in the MS it looked more action based while EA looked like the RPG it is.

Witcher 3 - Same as Dragon Age. The action elements they showed looked good, but I haven't played the previous versions. I don't know if I will pick this up or not.

UFC - I wish I could try the demo. I always get interested in the UFC games, but end up not caring for the controls. I miss the old THQ/AKI controls or even All Japan Pro Wrestling on the Dreamcast.

Hardline - I am interested in, but I am curious how the unlocks work. If it is like CO then it won't be for me. As much money as they unlocked it looked almost like it is a mix where you might spend as much as you want before the next match to unlock stuff for that match. I really hope not though.
 
I've been refreshing the login page since he actually said "The beta starts now" during the E3 stream and I just keep getting errors.

Wow, okay...I watched that for a couple minutes and already I can tell this is just going to be another BF3/4 clone. I'm watching a "police" APC with a mounted cannon killing "robbers", destroying an entire urban setting, vehicles, buildings, etc. to do it. Yeah...seems legit.

Yeah during the conference I thought it looked like a joke, just a bf4 mod or that it could pass for a DLC. That being said I do like the unlock system and playing it is a blast at the moment. Basically it's nice to have a fps with the dice/battlefield flare without it being a military style shooter

Yup.. It sucks.. It's just a BF4 MP map pack w/ a spin on the MP game choices. For $60.. LOL.. NOPE... . And the graphics are awful..

PC - 1080p / Ultra settings.. DAT BLUR and generic matte finish texturing..

Thing is, it looks exactly like a military-style shooter to me, with a different skin slapped on.

I mean, you can dress up a duck to look like a cat, but it's still going to walk and and talk like a duck.
 
Not sure what to think of this Aisha Tyler MC'ing Ubisoft's presentation, she's like a corporate dancing monkey. Embarrassing.

Exactly.. If this was $30 it would be justifiable.. Hell.. Even amuse us with a single player campaign.. But $60 for just MP maps and a different style MP configuration is absurd.. Even Activision wouldn't attempt to pool that much wool over our eyes.
 
This is hilarious; Assassin's Creed still hasn't made it to Asia? Why the fuck would anyone care about the French Revolution? How many of these fucking games are going to be in Europe?

Loving the in-door environments in the new AC. Shame it probably won't have sea combat.
Far Cry 4 looks great but the new villian seems like they're trying too hard to make a new Vaas.

As for the new Rainbow Six, can't say much based on their fake, canned trailer. lol Ubisoft. Do you think WE ARE STUPID?! Fool me once...

That Rainbow 6 shit was HILARIOUS..

A. No one talks like that in multiplayer..
B. No team is EVER that coordinated and following instructions to a T..

That game will just be a spray and pray MP debacle full of cursing 12 year olds
 
Before you get too excited try the battlelog page for bfh. It still isn't working for me 3-4 hours later.
