The Droid X

I had ordered the Incredible a few weeks ago but it's not set for delivery until 7/12 so I am most likely going to cancel that and get the Droid X. However, from what I have heard, Verizon is not going to do pre-orders this time around due to the frustrations that customers went through for the Incredible. I hope it's incorrect info because I really want to get a pre-order in.
 
If I didn't have a steady job with Verizon right now that gives me 50% off all plans .. phones.. etc is probably have a iPhone 4 right now. But I absolutely love my HTC incredible. Both those and Droid x are fine contenders in today market.
 
Droid 2 is awesome for anyone who plans to use the console regularly (w physical kb) :)

Those widgets can be deleted if they bother you and you can then download 3rd party stuff from the app store.
 
I was going to preorder the droid x at best buy but when I asked no one else had pre order so i passed for now. I played with an evo for a week and so far the droid seems like a better phone ('cept it doesn't have the front camera; minor to me). My big concern is the lump on the back. The reviews suggest it actually works as a plus but on the surface it seems like a negative. Also does the lens of the camera get scratched everytime you set the phone down?

btw the evo was not my phone a friend had picked one up at google i/o for free and he let me play with it for a week - now it is dead (1 month activation expired). I'm leaning hard towards the droid x but mixed on if i should bite with the preorder.
 
in for 1... paying the ETF with AT&T, then selling my iPhone 3GS to some dumb ass
