The Division 2

None of the friends I've invited have gotten their email yet. Getting frustrated, but it is only day 1.

I would say definitely try the Beta out before you make any decisions. The graphics still look incredible. Sure it may never have that dramatic feel from the snowy New York streets. But there's many different area s in this game.

Besides that the game and gunplay just feel so much tighter and more smooth. It's the same feel as Division 1 but just better. Hard to explain until you've tried it.

I wouldn't mind trying before buying it. I was a fan of the first part but i am a little unsure about this one. So if anyone has an invite for me, that would be appreciated.

They have to be on your friends list first.

Then go to thedivisiongame.com/beta

Halfway down you'll see where it says to invite friends. Log in with your Ubi account. Now you should see your entire friends list in a box.

Friends that haven't yet been invited will have a checkmark box next to their name. Select up to 3 and click invite.

After that I assume they receive an email how to download.

So far this definitely really isn't "some shit ;) "

Pretty polished situation all and all at this rate. I have a hard time imaging fans of the first game not being VERY happy here at least here in my early goings... will post more when I know more...


EDIT: Had a server disconnect during the White House shootout after a few minutes when I rolled into it. I expect these kinds of things in Beta. There was a code and the beta sent it it.

I TOTALLY forgot to pre-load last night and got the email. Ah well maybe I can load it when I get off of work. I played the Alpha test and thought that he changes they made were awesome. I want to get into it a little more and see some more of the changes.

So it seems Harvestor got an invite from some where else before the website would even let me in, and I have not heard back from Relapse808, so I still have 2 invites to give out.

Uplay name is "Frraksurred" same as here. I'm headed to work, but I will get to you as soon as I can.

There might be some wonkiness. On their website I went from having 2 invites...down to 1...back to 2. Weird.


If someone gets an email saying that the private beta is going and how to access it in this email...they are good to go, right? They don't need an invite?

That damn Delta 0-4 error or whatever :(

Visually, they really tightened this up. Blowing up a fuel barrel at night looks amazing! But the audio really needs some work as all the weapons are just more or less bass drums with a different rate of fire and no real identity
 
Great game so far. Performance wise, it's a bit choppy and there is a bad stutter every once in a while (and it's 20 times worse in DX12 mode). Hopefully they'll figure that out by the time it releases.

dx12 used to be really good then went to shit with crashes and then later corrupted graphics issues. I informed them in the alpha of the same particular issues....need to check in the beta. Shit like that says, I will buy your game later.

To be fair, I didn't run into 90% of this when I played last night. It may be a new patch, it may be the DX12 option being selected (I was in DX11), I don't know. Chime in with any issues / successes you have.

So far I had a few disconnects and those broke the mission I was on which albeit a bit annoying does give you more loot since you keep what you found yet the boxes are full again.

2nd dc I could not get back in for a while still works better for me then alpha.

Just built my new rig and my God does this game run well on it. Set everything to ultra @ 1080p and I'm getting 95-102 fps during the white House assault .
