Temps are pretty good in MI now.
Had the wife turn on the two boxen that got blown out when the power went off yesterday and only one of them came back. Probably another damned power supply. :(

That's been happening alot here lately. I had one go last week myself. RIP :(

 
Thankfully all of mine are still running, but will have to get some more to get more comps up.. which means more heat.. which means.. bleh

Cause at 300mA a 2.4GHz WAP can be deadly..... riiiiiiight.....

he uses his lappy as a file server and is totally against the slow wireless downloads. i dont download crap on my lappy that takes over 2 mins. i dl on the desktop and then burn it.
 
For me wireless would be to expensive..

to get the new router.. then all the add'ons i would need for each computer,

plus it would be a pain to run fold-server with a wireless router me thinks

you dont have to run complete wireless. my desktop is wired. i only got the wireless router so i could sit downstairs in front of the plasma on my lappy and not miss the comedy in this forum.
 
the one laptop I have has zero battery life.. and the cord has to sit "just right" so it doesnt power itself down.

besides.. i have a studio.. no need to be walking around with anything.

i get tired of running up the stairs everytime i hear my yahoo ding. now if i could just play BF2 on my lappy i would never go up stairs unless its time to baze. i can play Sims 2 on my lappy though.
 
i never understood the point of sims2.

thankfully i got out of all the different MMPORGS i used to play.. that sucked away so much time..
 
the . of sims 2 = play God and house at the same time. i never had barbie and ken so this is the closest i get to it.

its 97 freegin degrees outside!!!!!!!! do i see the antichrist in that heat wave out there?
