Socket AM2 Club!

because i had the cpu multi lowered to 10x before, and had the htt high enough that i needed an ht multi of 2x.. and never brought it back up. it's not like it effects performance anyway :p

OMG, so why do we need 1000Mhz HTT at all? Is it a big fuss of AMD's marketing department or what?

huh? no, that's just how good the ht link is.. it provides way more bandwidth than we can use in most cases.. though with multi-socket systems a fast HT link helps a lot more, since the cpus communicate over that bus ;)
