I posted up a thread in the Hot Sales section; there's a 4-Pack deal for Borderlands, making each game roughly $33.75

Was just wondering who else out there was thinking about buying up the game.
I'm pretty interested too.

A lot of people were kinda upset that the 4-Pack released AFTER a lot of people preordered it. More than a handful of them contacted Steam Customer Support and explained to them that they would like to cancel their preoder, and they certainly did.

I would do the same, but I only have 2 people IRL that will get this game...not quite a quad pack.
 
I'd be all over this if I hadn't already pre-ordered through Steam. There's no easy way to cancel and Steam's support is a nightmare.
 
really? i had good support with steam but it did take about a week lol

If only I could freeze time so I can relax a little -____-
 
I'm glad there's still some things to look forward to in 2009 like this and Dragon Age since it seems like just about everything else in and out of gaming got pushed back well into 2010.

You should research into the game man; it certainly sounds awesome. It is NOT a MMO like some people believe; it's a FPS with some RPG quality like leveling up and learning skills.
There's some seventeen million guns, there's cooperative gameplay, PvP, seamless landscape (no map loading), and easy drop-in/drop-out gameplay.

I preordered my copy on Steam.

I don't think so, that's the only thing which I was a little sad in; but I do believe you can dye your clothes and such. Other than skill customization, that's as far as it goes. However, I'm more than convinced that all the other pros of the game make up for this flaw. It is mainly a FPS.

I want to try it as I need a new FPS to play and the game looks fun. But will probably wait a bit on reviews.

The is looking to be pretty awesome. It kind of flew under my radar but now that I've been reading about it looks like what I've been waiting for in FPS games. Fuck CoD lets play some BL. :D

I think you have to initiate a duel or something. Either that or start a massive gunfight and steal each other's weapons.

that's why it's better to play with people you know...I don't know if I would trust 3 strangers to play with me without screwing me over or just because they like to mess around
