So those running Windows 7 Post here!

Does that in Vista as well. :p

My bad :) Coming straight from XP, I'm one of "those people" who thinks a lot of Win7's "features" are "new". :p

On my main rig (X2 5600+/2GB/8800GTS) I'm happy it runs Crysis just as well as my XP box did with the same blend of High and Very High settings. And without having to mess with cfg files to get Very High settings.
There's a bit of swapping going on...need more RAM. I figured as much, though. I'm not gonna try Crysis Warhead because it used almost 2GB on my XP box.

blew up my main rig and installed 7. planning on running it for the entire free year. feedback is turned ON, im hoping for a free license :D

haha thats great.. yeah my xp was never really ahmmm.. but when i did that feedback program with microsoft over a year ago on a spare hdd... i got a legit vista out of it.. so participating in microsoft stuff can benefit you :D

I wonder how that feedback is going to work out for the people with those 5 (10 for both versions) shared keys.

Sounds more like driver issues than the OS per se. My Brother 9840CDW all-in-one color laser printer works perfectly fine using the Vista x64 drivers. The same with my Bluetooth audio and built in audio with my tx2z tablet pc.
.

While there is a driver issue, in that there is no driver for the specific printer, the problem is that the mapped connection to LPT2 keeps disconnecting. The result is the print job never even makes it to the windows home server in the first place.

I expect that will get fixed between now and release. It's just not quite ready for it to be my primary OS yet. There are still a few bugs that need to be worked out. But that is what Beta is for.

Do you always have to go around saying how much better OS X is than windows? I've noticed this in quite a few threads.

He's obviously a non-gamer. No self respecting gamer would ever say OSX>>>>Windows. ;)

I'm dual booting with Vista and Win7 in a Raid0 (2x250 GB 7200RMP 16MB Cache harddrive). Video driver was very nice... didn't need to installed them yet. I have a HD 4850. My wireless adapter driver (wusb54g) works under Win7 so I was able to get online and all. The only issue with driver is my web cam doesn't work. I got a Logitech QuickCam Messenger. Installed fine but don't run

Overall impression is that Win7 is pretty fast :) It feels like XP but with a Vista skin.

Running it as the only O/S on my laptop with the following specs:

32-bit Windows 7
Intel T2310 - 1.46hz dual-core
2GB ram - originally 1gb
Intel GMA x3100
120gb HD

So far I love it. I migt pickup another drive and try it on my main.
