Show Your LCD(s) setups!!!

Thank you.

pictures were shot with a Canon 1Dmk2. The first and third pictures were with a 16-35mm at 16mm, the middle picture was with a 14mm Fisheye. All three pics used a 580ex and a 550ex flash for lighting.

WOW - I love this...have you chased the cables into the wall? And is that polyfilla/plaster I see covering the hole? I assume that's a plasterboard wall?

cheers

Hey Ribby,

Is that a Novation Remote LE 49 on your desk or one of the M-Audio's etc?

I'm getting a new master keyboard (61 key) and can't decide on whether to get a CME UF6 and BCR2000 or just go for a Novation Remote 61

What's that connected PSU for?

Oh thats for my handy dandy DIY because I'm too cheap to by an external case for my DVD writer thing-a-majig :):)

it powers that DVD writer. :D

Nah, I dint chased them. I made a 2x2 inch 'IN' hole directly behind the monitor and another 'OUT' hole about 3 feet down. Then I feed the cables with a wire hanger, wihch was alot harder than I thought it would be. It was a very tight sqeeze and it got kind of rough and made the hole bigger accidently so I cover a part with plaster.

no i dint.

I think by chased he meant that fi i carved a groove all the way down, stuffed all the cables in and then covered the whole cavity with plaster.

so, yea, you chased em :p

No he didn't...'chasing' would be digging a track/channel out of the wall and laying them in. I assume the wall is plasterboard or 'dry wall' as our US brethren refer to it. :)

Whatever, it looks SUPERB! But I will prolly end up using some trunking to keep the cables out of sight.

Hey ras2a, the keyboard on the desk is a Evolution MK-361C (Evolution has since been purchased by M-Audio).

Cheers Ribby, All I will need then is a new desk...gonna be building one from MDF this week.

Goat187,

What kind of wall-mount did you use to mount it so flush to the wall?

I used a Ergotron arm (200-series) and even when it's retracted all the way it's like 5in from the wall.

Hey THX, I have my sub underneath my desk, just like yours. Where would I be able to find that sound buffer thing (I don't know what it's called) and does it really make a big difference?
Thanks :)

Best regards from Poland :)

Nice setup (audio-wise!)! I like the speakers and I see you even put some acoustic dampeners by the sub. You really like your audio dont you? :)

There are acoustic penels. That you can buy it on ebay, some internet shops and specializing audio-shops with Hi-End Audio. Difference in sound is considerable, but It depends also from place and amounts of panels, Depending on your acoustic specificity of accommodation. In My case the bass has become much better ( Softest and bigger-greatest ) :)

Sorry for my english ;)
