LMAO, I was thinking of posting the same thing, but held back. My desk is always cluttered and every time I consider getting one of those nice glass tables I just have to remind myself of how much stuff is on my desk.
 
Attached are some photos of my new U2711 dual monitor setup.
I bought them from an eBay reseller and the monitors were shipped directly from Dell to me. This seller is no longer selling these monitors on eBay. The monitors are perfect with no dead pixels or backlight issues. Two 30" monitors would be too large for my desk so the U2711 size ended up to be perfect for a dual setup. This is great for people who do CAD work because you can have all your menus on your second monitor which frees up your workspace on the primary monitor.

I am using Displayfusion Pro to stretch a single wallpaper onto both monitors and to add a taskbar on the second monitor. It works great for dual monitors.

I am also using two Humanscale M8 monitor arms to free up the desk. The included U2711 stands are a bad design because it does not have enough vertical adjustment. You also cannot pivot the displays to portrait mode. My monitors are positioned 2" higher than the maximum vertical height of the stands.

Regarding the AG coating, I am used to the Dell coatings on my work monitors so they do not bother me. Removing the coating would be bad for me because I might break the monitors in trying to remove it, It would void the three year warranty and it would hurt the resale value further down the line.

I am no longer running dual screens, but all I ever used my other monitor for was irc.

Used to have a e248wfp and a samsung 204t, now i just have a sharp lc-40le700un.

I just moved the stand and desk last night, but I'm unsure if I'm going to be keeping it this way.

Anyone know where I can find some nice portrait wallpapers, like this one.



More specifically, I'd like to have it continue on my side landscape monitor. This is my setup below.

I think I should probably look into those wallpapers for dual/triple monitors, except I'd need 1920 pixels of height.

Can W7 native do each monitor with its on pict?

Can native also stretch pict across all the monitors?
