Nice.. would be super cool if the PS5 patch includes VR support for PS VR2 as well. But am sure that's not happening and they would specify if it was. RE7 in PS VR was pretty awesome for its time.

It was. Disappointed VR support never came officially to the PC version.

From what I recall Sony funded the VR portion. The game wouldn't have had any VR otherwise. Still not guess Capcom didn't feel it was worth adding to the PC version after any exclusivity deal was met.

Speaking with Shinji Mikami, Resident Evil/Biohazard series veteran Jun Takeuchi recalls how the game was a mess when he came on the development team after Capcom demanded the game be a live service game with multiplayer and microtransactions.

I guess the Capcom suits have yet to learn their lesson as they continue to try and push multiplayer RE games despite their continuous failure.
