Very nice indeed.
The router can go on the underside of the desktop, no?
This is a tempoary thing. Im repainting my walls soon and after that i'll hang two of them up on the wall behind my monitor, or whatever works best. IE.. Now what.(;
Yes, 2 sets. Also was about a 2-second exposure on a tripod.
I'm in the basement, and signal is very low in the house because of my room mate's crappy router(I just moved in) we haven't had the cash to buy a good one yet, so anything to bet better signal helps.
Many have used the Linksys WRT routers for years with DD-WRT. I still use one to this day as my wireless-g access point for ipods, phones, and wii. Just pay close attention to the model and revision number if you decide to try it.
The lightshade and the penguin complete the room, no?
Here is the current minus a few pieces off to the sides:
Lousy picture quality but here it goes..
Just spent an hour doing cable managment under the desk but I think I will re-do soon. Not totally pleased.
You confuse me in many ways, that keyboard with that mouse? that phone?
Mechanical Keyboards are apparently the bomb.. Who knew. Think how many were just thrown into the trash that are now worth an absolute fortune.
You confuse me in many ways, that comma with that question mark? that uncapitalized first letter of a short sentence?
I have to say this post confuses me more than his setup.
Sorry I'm not up to snuff.
There's a Déck Legend leaning against the side of the 600D that comes out for gaming. As for the Razor, it was the cheapest phone for my pay-as-you-go plan. It works just fine, thank you very much.
overload20, where did you buy that black stand in this picture?
Its actually dark grey. But here it is.. My cable management is terrible now that I look at this picture! lol
do you mount it to the wall?
I don't but there are two pre drilled holes that allow you too..
no i mean it didn't need to be mounted to the wall then? i am looking to get some to set on top of my galant to put my star trek stuff for display
No it is a standing unit. I really think it may be too tall and large to set on a desk though.
you know not of my desk
its a lil less than 4 feet. i think one or 2 would work great
ok maybe just one lol. its actually almost 4 feet across
ah i measured wrong. maybe i can do 2
Its roughly 5' tall and 2' wide.
BTW, Replace the battery in your smoke alarm
man everyone keeps telling me that
Nothing much changed, but new home, and a few odds and ends:
One thing that definitely hasn't changed is my inability to take a good picture
New Desk! New Case! New Build! Enjoy!
Vapor brothers style!
Should have left my EQ on my desk for my photos
very nice clean build...can u remove just the lower part of the HHD cases and keep the top part, instead of doing what you did?
is it possible to do that stand in portrait?
Yes, sorry for the poor quality picture. It's pretty dang cool in portrait. I am thinking about going back but I do a lot of remote desktop type stuff and 1080 doesn't work real well for that.
Would would probably want to cut the arms back so they don't hang out the sides.
you made it yourself right?
Compslckr what desk is that?I'm not a huge fan of metal and glass desks but that one is pretty sweet looking! I may get one if I can find it
Its the Ikea Galant. Black Glass top with chrome A-Legs.
Picked it up off a buddy for $50 because he was moving and did not want to risk breaking the glass
