Please tell me where you were able to purchase a main gear AIO cooler like that?

I approached them when it first came out, saying I was interested.

They said they were just talking about how they were going to sell it standalone and agreed to sell me one in a CoolIT brownbox in exchange for me posting my experiences online, which I did here.

Since then they must have decided not to sell it individually, which is a bummer.

My guess is it runs afoul of some of their contracts with CoolIT, or the way coolIT granted exclusivity to Corsair, (but corsair doesn't market this model.. )

Either way it's too bad, it is a great cooler which deserves to be on the market.

Had to chop up my case in order to fit it though

bottom 3 monitors are my main new computer, top left 2 are old computer that I use for final fantasy XI still, and the final screen is a cheapo 19" 720p LCD tv with my PS3 hooked up to it

Cool nice! What do you think about the game now? I miss the adventure aspect of it. Most of my buddies I use to run with in the early 03-04 days when I first started are all retired and gone. They left before Abyssea rolled out. It still to this day isn't too fancy with me.

Yeah, real old style. I bought the desk at an Ikea in Malaysia in '98. It has a much different style of support underneath than the Galant that is currently available. I posted pics of the bottom in the Ikea gallery thread.

ah interesting. that looks diff than another old style galant i saw. i wonder how many they came up with? i think i like the newer style it can support alot more weight i think.

I believe this older style Galant would support much more weight. The framework underneath appears to be more robust than the new ones IMO.

I have made it myself As I have done all the other furniture in my apartment (excluding sofa's bed etc.).

That's awesome, I've never seen a desk I like more for sale anywhere.

I just got a Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 for my birthday from my lovely wife

Now I can take better pictures of my rig

Last ones were taken with my 35-70mm f/2.8, and I was pinned back up against the wall in order to get it in frame I would have loved to take it with my 50mm f/1.4, but that would ust have been impossible.

Now I just need a tripod replacement after my last one broke. (Manfrotto's are expensive, maybe I'll get a Targus?)

I do recall Ikea selling something similar to that design a couple of years back (maybe they still do) but I don't recall it being as sturdy looking.

Actually, I was wrong. I was thinking of this. Similar styling, but doesn't come as a desk.

For me its because she really doesn't care about computers much. As long as it works, and she can play the occasional game of Civ V or Starcraft 2 or League of Legends or whatever, she's happy with it. I, however, am not content with that :-D

Mine doesn't care about computers at all. I get frowns and suggestions to come hang out if I'm on the computer for more than 10 minutes when she's home, and she HATES when anyone plays any video game.

For some reason she likes macs though

So I still have this huge interest in computers and spend way too much money building them, but I don't get as much time as I'd like to actually use the damned thing.

I have one of them as well- Doesn't cut down on the dust as much as I'd like, but thats probably just the cost of living in the desert- can't avoid everything being caked with dust!
