Razer Mako, super clean desk, Antec Twelve Hundred, and, most importantly, a Herman Miller office chair... and what are likely to be a Razer mouse and maybe even a Razer keyboard.

A man after my own heart. :D

Haha, thanks IRSmurf!

I found my camera, so I decided to retake the pictures, because my camera on the phone is blurry,

Good Idea with the counter top desk. This is what I put together. .

Just a temp setup though.

fyi, you'll want to use something to support the back or middle of that countertop, I had the same thing going at my last place with an 8' length of formica countertop on file cabinets and it will sag over time to the point where it's unrepairable. here's what I built when we moved into the house and I finally got my basement office...

I'm cheap, so I built the corner mount by cutting up a 2x4 and mounting the $10 microcenter wallmount to that, the others are using the same mount using tapcons in the block wall.

I've added more to it since, so maybe I'll get some better pictures sometime and post them - it now extends on the right side 12' on the right with another monitor mounted as a workbench setup.

[edit] Here's the rest:

On the other side of the wall to the right is a KVM and workbench, which the beige monitor is connected to, so I can throw pcs in the other room and work on them from in the office.

That quote in your sig totally contradicts this picture. :D

You got me there, if of course you are talking about a Mac being a beautiful object. ;) Else, I'm a poor college kid. My life is on that desk and my clothes fit in a box.

Yeah, it was transferred from the garage to the living room for that very reason. Dust... Also winter is coming upon us. and I was concerned about the moisture in the air. My only choice was to run a space heater 24-7 or move inside. Thanks for pointing it out though. I actually didn't realize it was that bad yet.

No worries man. My system is sitting sideways on my desk for space reasons and to have the window where it can be seen, so I never notice when mine needs cleaned. Until light catches it or something and it's got a nice film.

Just got done moving my desk and re-racking some stuff. More changes (cable management!) to come, but I thought I'd throw it up:

added ipad and accessories. Thinking about moving to large "L" shaped desk for this area for more desk space.

Pkirk618..nice setup. Can we (I) get a closer look ..picture..of that ipad stand.
love the work space.

Nice setup as always Pkirk618. How are you liking the Wireless Logitech Illuminated keyboard? Good for gaming?

Hey do you have a link to that stand, can't seem to find it on Bestbuy's website?

I saw that at best buy but was way to pricey. There is one on amazon that comes in either silver or black and is only $30. I can't remember the name but it looks similar. You can find it by searching iPad stand.

hey all, thanks for the kind words. That stand was the only one left at BB. It sold for 60 bucks. A little pricey but it feels like a quality product and comes with enough accessories to accommodate an ipad with a thicker sleeve. It rotates and will let you lay the ipad flat like a table.

too bad there's not alot of info out there on it.

Here's some crappy pics of the box to give a little more spec info including barcode.

I'm not using one currently. I fried mine--long story. It was very nice for gaming especially in dark settings. It was real classy--I wish mine still worked. The one on the table is a cheap ms wireless media kb. Surprisingly, it works well in games and types and feels like a laptop kb.

Current workstation. Currently living in a fraternity, so space is limited. Once I've got my own place this summer and next year, I'll post a better (updated) picture.

The system is in my signature. The audio is a carat-peridot USB DAC/Headphone amp driving my Sennheiser HD580's. There's a Scythe SDA-1100 T-Amp on there as well, but since I don't really have room for speakers currently, it's just sitting there.

Keyboard is some generic logitech from Walmart (but I absolutely love it and couldn't see replacing it, especially with something that would cost 5-8x as much) and the mouse is a logitech VX revolution, which I also absolutely love.

Updated:

Moved out and now have a much bigger desk. The provided desk was way too small, so I took an old door and have my desk and my shelves propping it up.

I've moved my old main PC to the closet and it's now just a media server/torrent rig. Also sold my macbook pro and have bought an Asus 1215N.

The G73, 1215N and a samsung PX2370

I tried to get a feeling of the size of my desk, but it's hard to do. It's quite large. I guess if you know the size of a G73 (quite large) then you can grasp how big the desk is. That's a 23" Samsung for reference.

The speakers (too big and not correctly positioned, I know but it's just temporary) are driven by a yamaha HTR-5730 and my DAC is the same Carat-Peridot.

If your looking for a smaller set of speakers I HIGHLY recommend this very cheap pair of Dayton B652's. http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=300-652

Here is the article I read before I bought a pair (4pair actually to save shipping). And let me tell you. they are a beautiful sounding thing. http://news.cnet.com/8301-13645_3-20016275-47.html
