I'm 19, so throughout college.

From a financial standpoint is makes sense.

I'll be able to work enough to pay for college as I go and still have money left over.

They only pay for what it costs for me to exist in their house. Food, car, clothing, etc. is up to me.

I'll also have my own entrance in my room so I don't even need to walk through the house if I don't want to.

OR I could live in the dorms, pay $5,000 a year, and live with another person. Tempting! :p
 
I was referring to after he gets out of school.... Nothing wrong with a college kid still living at home, but once they are out of school, that's another story,

I am 1/3 the way to a down payment for my house when I graduate. I don't know anywhere where I insinuated I'd be living here for ever.

This is what I am doing also.
I may share a cheap apartment with three friends my junior and senior year however, since from a monetary standpoint it's really not that expensive for us, since both of them are EE majors with high paying internship jobs, and I will have a high(er) paying job in about a month.
 
Sounds pretty sweet uncledavid218. I remember my room before i moved to Korea. It was like.. 19 x 22. 5.1 setup. PC in my room, couch. It was pretty nice..

Then, here in Korea, i have a 8 x 10 room haha. Quite small compared to what i'm used to

oh dang...THATS the jerker? i've seen people saying how awesome it is, just never seen a pic til now. SIGH. i've been thinking about the fredrik. is the main difference the shelf depth? and the front edge of the desk?

Yes, and yes, the jerker also had the ability to add on side shelving units. The fredrick is what i am going to be picking up this weekend.
The jerker>the Fredrick, but i cant find a good deal on a jerker in my area, (Indy).

i'm in indy too. i almost drove to Cincinnati today to get my i7 and the fredrick but didn't wanna drive in the snow. ended up gettin the i7 for the same price at frys but don't know what i'm gonna do about a desk.
