First of all, why?
Second, what is the electric bill?
I can run almost any piece of software and paid all of $50 to build this network. My electric bill is very reasonable. It's all EnergyStar compliant, too.

New Workstation as of last week
i use this only for email, internet, vmware and IM
Samsung 20" (useless to go to 22 since there is no resolution upgrade, also i think 24" is too heavy for this machine, 24" is for new gaming rig when the 9800gtx comes out)
core2duo E4500 2.2GHz @ 3.0GHz (i got a shitty cpu, wont go past 3.2ghz reliably without going to 1.5v, the ninja mini cant really handle that much heat)
2GB Mushkin Ram PC2-6400
120GB Seagate HDD (most files are on NAS or file server, i barely use 5GB of the HDD)
TSSCorp burner
football76, what's going on inside that Altoids tin?

Here is my setup at college (yes I installed an extra lock on the door ). Rig in the sig, Xbox 360, 32" Toshiba LCD, and of course my Sennheiser 595's keep me "on task" on those long study sessions.
...The monitor doesn't look that bad in person. And yes, I make sure to turn the PC off when using the 360
Enjoy!

^^ yep, thats a hand made cMoy headphone amp. I love it, if anybody is interested in one they only run about $70 (high quality, pre-built) and in my opinion are worth it if you have decent headphones. The amp is resting on one of those grippy things people put in their cars to hold their cell phones still.

Retook the setup with friend's D80, looks much nicer.
-No, the toshiba doesn't have the built in DVD player. Everything I plug into it looks amazing though, the 360 does a decent job of DVD playback.
-I make sure not to use the PC at the same time as the 360 because the Lian-Li has a top vent and fan that blow directly on the bottom of the 360 case. Even though it's like 5 degrees here everyday I'm sure the 360 doesn't require any additional "heating."
What desk is that?
Been thinking about getting a Fredrik (don't have space to fit a jerker) but that one looks interesting (albeit cold!)
I kinda hate keyboard trays (=/) but it looks really nice, how much!?!
i know what you mean dude...im on my second 360 now.
EDIT: check out this article: http://www.extremetech.com/article2/0,1697,2088531,00.asp .turns out the 360 has horrible dvd playback

also, do you have headphones that need Amping first of all?
For something I want to do. Yes and for on my computer... why the eff not =D I have some Senn 515s that I got a project for... Maybe even replace them with some Higher Senns. I have also thought about getting some nice bookshelf speakers from my work and putting them on my computer also. This would be a step that way.
I also found that thinkgeek carries a ton of different headphone amps. I may gohead and pick up 1 or 2.
Little ledge for the curtains. It's more common in older homes.
I just bought this one. I'll use it with my MacBook Pro when I'm at work or traveling. Thanks for the link!I'd rather get a PA2V2 from electric-avenues or something from the Headroom line or a SuperMacro amp for Xin, either way, there are better amps than that Sonic Impact one, and *especially* better ones than are on ThinkGeek.
Check eBay for a cMoy opamp2227 like this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/Micro-Cmoy-head...oryZ3274QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
They're much better quality and cheaper to boot.
