Worth every penny. The sound quality is great, although a bit lacking in bass (but bass boost on my Audigy 4 fixes that :)). Its also very comfortable (I can wear it for hours and I don't feel any strain on my head) and blocks out outside sound very well.

How do the Promedia GMX's sound versus the regular Promedias?

I own a Promedia 2.1 system.

FYI I have pics all around this forum but under the name "[Ao1]Powerkiller"

No idea but they suck. The "control pod" AKA dollar store quality decoder is already breaking and there's a deep loud hum from the sub half the time I turn a source on. They're only for gaming so whatever. I have headphones for actual audio uses :D

Sorry for the image quality, the only digital camera I have is old and crappy. :(

My Linux testing box, Gremlin. Dual 450MHz PIIIs, 512MB RAM. Just what I play with distros on, nothing impressive.

In case anyones wondering where my main PC is, its currently in pieces behind me on my work desk. I'm selling the parts for an upgrade, horray!

Never seen that option where is it located?

A good many games have it, and I /believe/ it's possible to do on the OS level, at least in XP. I'll look again. It's one of those things I've noticed before but never made use of.

Anyone have any idea of what desk this is? I know this was posted 6 months ago but I really really like the desk and would be perfect if the dimensions are what I need. Have a 40' Samsung.

ikea jerker but its discontinued.. you might be able to still find one in a retail store..?

Some local IKEA stores still have a few in stock, too. Last Saturday, my brother picked up 2 flat Jerkers in the Atlanta store.

Yeah I was using mine for gaming as well. Now I use the best $20 pair of headpones I ave found.

Phillips SHP2500. They have tons of bass thanks to bass ports around the edges. The only issue I have is the cable is 20 feet long. Which is very long. I bought them at CVS Pharmacy of all places! *EDIT* forgot to mention the ear cups are cloth not the cheap leatheret, which helps the bass even more.

greeneye: Thanks :) I have been using a P4 1.6GHz with 256mb ram on a 15" monitor for about 5 years and only just few days ago put together this new system after years of saving! It was well worth the years of waiting and saving :p Youve got a really nice setup aswell. Nice keyboard, Im hopefully going to be getting a G15 aswell in the next couple of days :)

JacobC1983:I live in the UK and got it from KustomPCs:

Windowed P182:

Windowed P180:

Windowed P180B:

They took about 6 days from the day I ordered for them to carry out the mod and then for it to arrive on my doorstep. The window mod is superb! Way better than I had expected, it looks even better than I would have expected than if Antec had done it themselves! :) KustomPC's customer support is the best I have ever experienced, I strongly recommend using them :)

EDIT:
Forgot to add that if you are in the USA, you can get a windowed Antec P180/180B/182 from PerformancePCs:
