Hi, I'm brand new here, so be gentle.

Here's my setup.

My View
cimg0072gx5.jpg

Logitech Z-2200's, Samsung Syncmaster 740N, Logitech MX-3000
And my brand new computer :D
cimg0071qo8.jpg

Intel E6300, 2GB RAM, Geforce 6800GT, 250GB HD, SB Audigy other stuff all in a Rosewill Tu-155

Right now I only play CS 1.6 (I put the kb/mouse on the desk area for more room) but I think I might get into COD4 when it comes out.

Please let me know what you think of my setup!

Hmm. Being young and all, I think I'll pass on the monitor upgrade at least for now. (I gotta save for a car)
If anything, I was considering for a while upgrading my speakers, as quality sounding music is more important to me than a pretty screen. I'm just now beginning to realize the mediocrity of my Logitech Z-2200's and today I met a guy who works at Guitar Center (which is where they sell the speaker set I was looking at; Blue Sky EXO 2.1). I'd just worry that I would get only crappy sound to come out of them, with my having a basic SB Audigy card and music library consisting of mp3's at a max quality of 192kbps. But I digress.
So no monitor, at least for now. Keep the comments/suggestions coming though, I really appreciate them!

Then that HDTV is a waste then with a PSOne hooked up to it :p

that setup is actually mine. i had thebeephaha post for me since i wasnt a member yet.

i actually dont have that psone hooked up to my tv. its just sitting there right at the moment because i happened to pull it out of a pile of old stuff. hoping to get a 360 soon. i have my computer hooked up to my tv and i play games on it instead of my monitor.

Small? It looks like it's a 19" (maybe 20")...that's not that bad...I have 2 of them.

How is that Hyundai LCD TV?

(I'm assuming you've seen it in person)

well i cant speak for thebeephaha. but since i own it (as that pic is of my workstation) i would say its good for the money. i got it for $600 i believe. it is not on par with a samsung or sony, but it costs half as much.
