1.) Yes if I'm at the computer, he usually lays up there
2.) Surprisingly no, not much that I can see (the receiver is easily 8 years old now, and still kickin')
3.) Not that high really, maybe about 5 feet off the ground, he usually jumps up on the main desk part and then jumpsup on top of the receiver.

Yes, he has plotted many attempts at my surmise, but so far, none have been successful.

One question that I'm sure someone will ask, yes it does get very hot up there, which is why he likes it. He'll eventually get too hot, probably about an hour or so after jumping up there and then jump back down to cool off. Cats are a very odd creature.

I wouldn't consider that a workstation. Very nice setup, but this isn't the right place. Show off my home theater or maybe LCD in the display section would be more appropriate.
 
Wow...nice setup...but you actually wasted the $10-15 for the useless PS2 horizontal stand? :confused:

What television stand is that, and where did you purchase it?
 
It sure is.. Almost too comfy. :D

Damn I wish my phone would take better pictures indoors.. The colors in these pics suck, and they're too grainy. Gotta borrow a real camera from someone. :)
 
you don't need a desk, you need to mount a keyboard/mouse tray onto a another swinging arm. SCREW DESKS!

...wow. no offense, but talk about a dumb statement. The horizontal stand was "useless" b/c it wasn't needed to make the system sit flat. It was basically just an overpriced piece of plastic that had the gradation color pattern on it.

How are you driving the third monitor with only an 8800GTX? Using a Triple-Head-To-Go or whatever it's called? Nice kit.

My primary workstation (Antec 900) is driving the middle and right display, and my secondary workstation (P180) is driving the monitor on the left.

I'm using Synergy to share the keyboard and mouse between both the workstations.

Mod, I'm really liking your setup - My 20 and 17 inchers would look tiny in comparison to those monitors. What type of desk are you using? I'm going to eventually need to pick up a new one when I move out.

Reg, The desk is an Ikea Jerker which unfortunately is discontinued. I hear that the Frederick is similar but I haven't seen it in person.
 
Alright, here is mine. In the process of building a Cisco lab network and parting out my rigs for new parts... But here it is anyway, just consider it a work in progress...

Note: Yes, those are LG 21" LCD monitors. Absolutely beautiful w/ 2ms and 3000:1.
