yeah it is, my screen name in full form used to be computerslacker, then it got shortened to compslckr

I made the background for my gf but I'm using it too for a bit because I it's a change from the black and white photos i like taking and using as backgrounds
 
Assuming you're using the default Windows screen cap utility, the image will go to your clipboard (or whatever they call it.) You have to paste the image into a program like Paint or PS and save the file.

I bet firefox looks like ass in it...i.e. the firefox GUI will be all black and then you will have white webpages and the two will clash like nobody's business.

I have fooled around with so many black and dark blue themes and this always seems to the be the problem.

I use custom skins for firefox...
 
updated: thinkpad is now my workstation. dual monitors. note that the one on the left (thinkpad's) is at 1024x768 while my sony monitor is at 1280x1024 hence why it filled it in with the black spot.

With some of the default settings, it can be a bitch to read things. I just played around with some of the colors to see what worked best for me.

My main monitor (first screenshot) is running at 1920x1200 resolution. The second monitor is running at 1440x900.

Sorry to be a noob but how do you install the icons? I have StyleXP but can't seem to find them with that program.

My desktop icons were hidden, those that you see are from Samurize.

Maybe people should just post linkage/specs/stats with each entry in this thread, seems like that would improve the SNR, perhaps? Not saying that questions are bad, but they're going to happen regardless... sooooo...

For those that are probably asking what the hell is in the background, here's a small history lesson, courtesy of Google:
In the 14 century, there was a convent built, called Carmo. It is also known as the monument to the earthquake, since the ceiling fell with the shaking and no body rebuilt it because of the unstable ground. Nevertheless, the walls refused to go along with the ceiling, as well as the arches in gothic style, which stand still since they were made. This convent was one of the biggest in Lisbon, close to Santa Justa Elevator, close to the center of the metropolis, where the traditional shopping area is available for more than 2000 years, and close to the river, like most of the ancient monuments and on ancient east section.
