What is a good site to get themes that work with the uxtheme.dll crack? I HATE using programs to change my themes, it just bothers me.

I usually get them from www.customize.org

Cleartype smoothes fonts in Windows XP, basically like an improved font antialiasing. Makes fonts look really nice on LCDs, but I don't like the look of cleartyped fonts on my CRTs.

I'm not in Windows right now, so here's a link from MS about how to enable it.

You serious? lol.

Hehe...

See the "My computer" on your desktop? Left click and drag it to the complete top of the screen, then drop it. It should create a toolbar like that.

Here's yet another one of my many desktops I've had over the past year; it's the one I'm using now!

Is that windows? how do u get ur deskktop like that and whats that wallpaper?

It's OS X Tiger (the REAL one) with a Shapeshifter theme called "Unity Lite". I made the wallpaper in Photoshop. :)

Get rid of those icons and use LiteStep instead of Explorer and that would be an out-fucking-standing desktop, Darkkmind.

I plan on using a shell pretty soon. Just not to sure on which one to go with. Is that better or should i say easier to use than Windowsblinds?

LiteStep is a UI like Explorer. I really love it. Instead of a Start Menu, you right click on the desktop, opening a menu that is fully customizable. You can download a previously made theme or make your own. Both of which are relatively easy to do. All customizations are performed through text file manipulation, so it's pretty straight forward. LiteStep is a very flexible UI that can conform to your needs, whatever they are, for the most part.

WindowsBlinds works much differently. Instead of replacing Explorer, it just skins it. I used it for a while, but was left wanting more. This lead me to using a mix of LiteStep and WindowsBlinds. WindowsBlinds allows you to skin your dialogues and windows and such, while LiteStep allows you to customize your desktop.

BTW, Darkkmind, could you link me to that wallpaper, please?
