But he's right. I don't have a pirated copy of windows.

Lol it's not pirated, What was going on was that i had used Norton Ghost to clone the C: drive to my new drive and pull the old one, But the new drive didn't have the BOOTMGR and wouldn't boot so i put the old one in and windows gets fussy when there is a second copy of windows with the same activation code on one computer. This presently has been rectified.
