LadyJaqie : How do you get a quicklaunch bar. I've tried everything

I added new GeoBar and loaded geoMenuLaunch. I cant figure out how to add icons!

I'm also wondering if you can disable the splash screen upon loading. Thanks

Right click in the bar along the bottom of your screen and unlock it if it is locked, Right click -- ToolBars -- QuickLaunch.

Here is my XP partition...

OK I have done this & saved it to My Pictures, Is that what I should have done?

If so, then how do I get it in to the message box & on to the forum.

Cheers

Link to Background Image, and what Theme do you have? Links to both? Thanks. :D

I don't understand why none of you have F@H running? WTH?? It does nothing to slow you're computer down a bit, so why not? Doesn't it bug you that you never use all of that processing power? My cpu has been at 100% usage, 99% of its life (prollly a little over a year).

it does lower overall life expectancy of ur chip though; if not affect performance noticeably.

sure thing dude. i get most of my themes from the neowin.net forums (themes need no program, as there is built in skinning with winxp, and all you need to do is dl a patch from neowin here, for those that dont know). links are as follows:

the theme is "Storm" which can be found here.

you can also dl the background here.

enjoy.

Style xp has a lot of good wallpapers and styles.

Monkey34- Thanks, I got it at the Guild Wars website. They have some cool 3d stuff there.

DRJ1014- It's locked, I just put the mouse on it for the screen shot, so everyone would know it's my desktop, hehe. :D

I am going to keep it that long. My 450mhz dell optiplex gets just about as much use as my 3000+ winchester setup in rig. Why kill good hardware

To each his own i guess. I donated my P3 733 to the school district i was workin for.

Yup. Google it, first link there will take you right to it. The thing is sweet. I love it so.

Here is the link to mine.

Reformatted a few days ago so no Photshop CS yet to resize images. :(

My Background

Windows XP SP2
ObjectDock (Mac like Bar at the bottom) and Konfabulator (Temp/Time/Date)

Thats about it.
The Background Image was off DeviantArt someplace. Saw someone else had it too on this thread and was suprised.

The average CPU life is huge, folding will hardly make a difference.

Changes in temp, the shrinking and expanding of the die, shortens a CPUs life moreso than load. When you actually USE your CPU on and off your subjecting it to constant changes in temp. At least with a folding rig the CPU core is always at the same, loaded temp.
