edit: Sig needs updating. I just upgraded my cards a few weeks ago.

3dmark score was p9149 with the system in my sig (but cpu clocked at 3.4 due to my watercooling system being changed and using air in the interim).

I've got an OT question to the above poster...why do you have a QX, ddr3, and tri-sli but a 22'' monitor?

Nice rig, we have very similar setups!:D

I have a 32 inch Samsung being delivered on Monday ;) I had to save up for it and I used my 22 for the time being.

How does that Striker work for you? I have either heard really good things or really bad.

Ugh, I think I got around P12500 with a GTX 260 and the PhysX driver

Not on my Vista boot ATM so I cannot re-test without restarting

the new Nvidia PhysX driver drastically improved my Vantage scores...3DMark Vantage went up by over 2000 points

3DMark Vantage= P6637

Vanatage: 8158 w/ physx software driver. (For some reason the Physx icon didn't pop up in my Control panel, but then again neither does the familiar NVIDIA shortcut on my status bar. Must be a vista 64 thing )

3DMark Vantage: P8936
CPU Score: 8380
Graphics Score: 11157

With sig rig...

ive heard that the 3dmarks vatange is bad but im dling in a moment. ill post my score in a bit.

P8962 with the rig in my sig. I have no idea what sort of 3DMark Vantage scores are considered decent, but this seems a little low to me, for some reason.

System in sig. Catalyst 8.8 beta drivers.

Extreme:
3DMark Score X11131 3DMarks
CPU Score 12820
Graphics Score 11055

Performance:
3DMark Score P14569 3DMarks
CPU Score 13039
Graphics Score 15162

Does this look right for 4870 X2 Crossfire? Most of the reviews show conflicting numbers between them.

Performance:
3DMark Vantage Score P9496

Seems lower than I expected. What do you think based on my specs:

After an upgrade to 4GB (actually, 3.25GB due to myself using a 32-bit OS) of memory and an upgrade to a Radeon HD 4850, this is my score now:

P6851

And that score was with the Catalyst 8.7 drivers with all of the driver settings at their defaults.

I will retest my system tonight with the current Catalyst 8.8 drivers and the driver settings set for maximum performance. The results will follow shortly...

Yes its fine , i got on Extreme 7K and my GPU on performance is 13K so its seems to be right.

Used drivers that came with the CD 8.7 I believe. Also 3dmark sees my quad at 3.6 but its really 3.2ghz. weird

Well, here they are:

P7128

The 8.8's boosted my score slightly over the 8.7's.

SLI GTX280 one shitty vanilla that dont do past 1404 on shader and one really good SC that do pure H20 speed on air.
X10461 3DMarks

P23424 3DMarks
Now i found another SC that on air do push 1512 on shader with no problem to go along with the other SC i got from stepup, but need a dedicated GPU-loop before trying find the absolute max.

P7123

Cpu score- 30648
Gpu score- 5672

why is my cpu score so high?

You probably have an Nvidia card which is accelerating PhysX, and that is something that the benchmark attributes to the CPU score.

VantageScoreCrossfire.jpg

I think that is a decent score for 4850 Crossfire. My PPU does PhysX though it doesn't add to the score as much as PhysX via Cuda does; it helps a little.

My latest score:
Total: P6836
GPU: 6477
CPU: 8202

3DMark is of course pretty useless since Nvidia hijacked the CPU benchmark portion and made it into a GPU benchmark...

With my system currently set to:

Processor: Q6600 @ 3.780GHz
OS: Vista Ultimate 64
GPU: (1) 280 @ C=734 SH=1512 M=1242
Driver: 178.15
PhysX: 8.09.04

I can set my CPU to 3.8GHz or higher, and hit 15K now. :p
I think that is super for a 1 card system. ;)
