For the folks that got the free Samsung S6 phone - did you receive an email stating that it was shipping? Also, what mailing carrier was it sent by? I ask because I am currently out of town and will not be back home until this weekend. UPS sometime drops crap off at my door when they shouldn't so if they are the ones delivering it, I might be out of a phone.
Ah, I found the difference. Technically they are totally the same, but the color of the stand is different.
UE40JU6550 is black
UE40JU6560 is silver

So do you guys honestly think the non-SUHD models will be able to display HDR with just a firmware update or this is just some PR BS? It doesn't seem legit.
Why not? Even my very old 1280x1024 monitor can display HDR pics.
Nope, just showed up randomly
That was a HDR within 8 bits and a standard backlight.
2 other types of HDR exist.
Increased backlight power for HDR still using 8 bits per colour.
increased backlight power for HDR with higher bit range.
The last 2 require the display to support the methods and as the display is reputed to support HDR via a firmware update, it will likely be to support one of these.

Hoping it won't add any lag. If it does, I won't be updating.
So HDR support means that if you watch HDR format pics then screen automatically increase backlight and makes colors more vivid?
How was it delivered? US Postal, UPS, or something else?
Yea, I have a feeling lag could go up with this update. I'll pass lol...
Did i understand correctly if I say JU7500 only have hdmi2.0 only with external box and not just back on tv connector? JU6700 dont use that external box?
Thats sucks, why did they did that? I prefer less external items and more integrated in TV. Oh well lets hope they dont do that same mistake with 2016 model year.

Ok, so guys i need some help. I ordered a 48" JS9000 on Amazon (no local store has one in my area), and it kept turning on/off by itself, it also had a hairline scratch on the bezel (i overlooked that), and some weird grey uniformity issue on the right side thus making colors dark on that side. Next i ordered a replacement for this stupid issue, and now the second unit has a dead pixel... Grey uniformity was better on this second unit, but now it's brighter on the right side, thus making whites a bit yellow. I'm so mad right now and not even sure if i want a third unit especially since they are out of stock on Amazon until October 14th, not to mention the price spiked up by $300. I can get a 48" JU6700 locally. Should i do that, or is this a huge downgrade? I mainly like to watch movies and play games on the PC. I used it in PC mode and felt fine with the input lag.

I intend to bay Euro version of 40 inch Samsung JU6500 TV (Samsung UE40JU6400), to use it exclusively as computer monitor, for regular desktop use (Surfing, Photoshop, Video Editing ...)? Also planing on baying ASUS GeForce GTX 960 STRIX-GTX960-DC2OC, but i read thet people have problems with HDMI 2.0 3840x2160 60hz on ASUS GTX960 graphic cards.
Is there any user that runs Samsung JU6500, and ASUS GTX960 without any problems in HDMI 2.0 3840x2160 60hz 4:4:4 chroma?
Or if you know any particular brand, and model from GTX960 series that work perfectly with this televison in HDMI 2.0 3840x2160 60hz 4:4:4 ?
Sorry if I am not eloquent enough, I'm not native English speaker.

Is anyone familiar with this model: UN40JU650DFXZA, on sale at Costco at the moment, however I'm having trouble finding what difference between DFXZA and the FXZA models.
I don't know if this helps, but my JU6500 runs fine with my GTX970 at 4:4:4 60hz. I didn't know GTX 960s had issues with that.
