I've only played the for an hour or so but performance seems fine. Max Settings 3440x1440 at 90fps on a 7900XT/5800X3D and 130+fps with Frame-gen on.

The problem I have with Monster Hunter my character get knocked down every two seconds. Wild hearts wasn't bad until Capcom shut the game down. Just give the same game a different name then it takes off. I liked The last Monster Monster Hunter World game.

Did they add health bars to monsters? 👀
No? Why would they have?

I played the beta, did some Lance, Bow, and HH...all awesome, I'm so hyped for this game. Ran decently on my rig, though there were some stutters and a couple crashes. Definitely room for improvement.

It was a joke man.

Really?

I suppose required in the sense that if you want to achieve 60 fps you will have no choice but to run DLSS and frame gen.
The beta was running okay for me at 4K with DLSS, no frame generation, on my 3080. Dropped below 60 sometimes but it was perfectly playable.

I ran this at 1440p max quality (except I turned off motion blur and depth of field). And I turned on reflex + boost (reflex helps keep frametimes more consistent. and boost attempts to keep your GPU at its max clock speed). No framegen.

RTX 4070 TI Super
Intel Core Ultra 265k (AKA Arrowlake) with stock settings (This is Intel latest i7 equivalent desktop CPU)
32GB DDR5 7200 via XMP.

I would normally have this CPU tweaked a bit and the RAM overclocked to 8000. But, I have my ITX system in a console style case (which I don't like) for testing. But I will be moving it back to its usual case. Which can fit a goodly size Heatsink.

Even at stock settings, it seems this game doesn't have any big problems with Arrowlake's architecture. It held 60fps even in the heaviest scenes.

Without DLSS, I averaged 78 fps. With DLSS Quality, 90 fps.

I'm quite picky about image quality and did not have any sharpness issues while using DLSS Quality (some people have complained about it with this benchmark). And overall, DLSS was free of common artifacts. The only DLSS visual issue I noticed after two benchmark runs, was mostly ommitting the sand particles wisping around the air in the later scene where you approach the doorway (to the food hut?). I did not swap the DLSS files to the newest. I used whatever the benchmark includes.

I'm not a fan of how they are doing the color and gamma curve on this game. Its really low contrast and the gamma curve seems too bright in virtually every scene. And that held true even when I turned on HDR. Easily the worst looking HDR I have seen. I actually think SDR might look slightly better. I'm doing to try it with RTX auto-HDR. As that also includes a very generous contrast slider.

I got around 75 FPS average on 1440p max settings with DLSS Balanced. The older DLSS doesn't look all that great though, hopefully they'll get DLSS 4 in there soon after launch (or before).

I'm going to try this my biggest gripe with what I saw so far all the Monsters are Weird looking in MH worlds you had stuff that was recognizeable like T Rex and Big Birds.

People saying the Benchmark crashes but updating the Nvidia drivers helps for some.

I need a Watercooler or a Intel Bracket this benchmark made my Noctua air cooler hit 100c on 3 cores plus it's Winter.

Running through Linux. X11; haven't tried with Wayland to see if it makes a difference.

Strange how the higher fps with FG gives a lower score than without FG. I'll pop over into Win11 and see how it compares.

Win11 - Quite a bit slower than in Linux but probably because AMD hasn't updated their drivers since the end of November.
