MLAA is a game changer.

Hell yeah it does! It's so beautiful and cinematic, I'm playing through Mass Effect 1 again first but I've already tested 2 as well and its just beautiful. Loving it. Stalker and Oblivion too, both benefit from MLAA tremendously and do not seem to take much of a FPS hit for using it. Disappointed I can't use it in VTM:Bloodlines though, that is a game that really needs it badly.

I dunno about this MLAA... It make the games look more like Team Fortress 2 graphic. Some looks impressive some looks weird.

I'll have to give it a try myself tomorrow. F.E.A.R. comes to mind.

If it works in FEAR it should be awesome as hell. That game really needs it. Read this entire thread for lots of info and tips as well as a good discussion. Seems to be the general consensus that it looks awesome in some games and bad in others, but when it looks awesome its really, really sweet. :)

Summary updated in original post at the bottom. Card is going to be given to the wife since she doesn't play the wide variety of games that I play, her computer isn't on 24/7 so the noise/heat isn't as big of a deal, and the games she plays will benefit tremendously from MLAA, so it'll be a nice present for her.

Now the question is, do I get rid of some of my excess hardware (I got a 260, 275, 460, and some others laying around) and splurge on a 470? I think I might... :)

How did you capture that? Has something changed since the release, because I thought everyone, including AMD, said there was no way to capture screenshots/videos of MLAA in action.

Probably an output capture card.

I would be bleeping awesome If I could actually USE MLAA. There is no BLEEPING check box in the ccc.

Btw I have a Visiontek 6870

I have Win 7 and MLAA works great. I've been getting the impression that in Win Vista is where the problems are happening. :)
